After the snow and ice dam build up on my roof, I called Jose at J &V Roofing LLC because I had read excellent reviews of his work removing ice dams and snow on roofs in the Madison area. I found the reviews of his company on the Better Business Bureau website. He and his crew worked in freezing cold weather to carefully remove the potentially damaging ice and snow accumulation that was already causing a small leak in a window. Glancing over the reviews, I am not surprised that Jose gets high marks. A duplex I just purchased (rental) was in need of a new roof. After a thorough inspection I also realized that I wanted siding/fascia covering the old wooden fascia and new gutters put on the duplex, plus more/better venting in the soffits. The siding was going over a portion of the house and the garage that the previous owners had left covered with wooden siding, much of it damaged and rotting. The supply company delivered the wrong shingles (similar to those we chose, but hard to tell). The roofers were so efficient that they had the old roof off and the new installed before Jose could make it on site.
However, when he arrived, he halted his crew immediately and contacted the supplier. Without any hesitation, he informed us of what had happened and recommended that we wait for the shingles we originally chose (higher quality and

Signed an accepted roofing proposal on 8/30/20 with down payment to be sent at the closing of my new home on 10/1/20. Home closed, check was sent by title company. Over the course of 6 weeks Jose never confirmed receipt of the check and proceeded to ignore all of my communications. I was forced to find a new roofing company in mid-November. Do not recommend.

I had Jose come out and do my roof and I must say I am pleased with the results. He was on the job while the guys were working which shows he is hands on to make sure they do a good job! I was provided with a 50 year warranty from the manufacturer which helped with my decision. I would definitely use him again if needed in the future!

They did a great job on my new roof. They pointed out areas that needed to be addressed and showed real concern for doing the job right and paying attention to every detail. Great follow up on the whole process and worked very quickly. I won't hesitate to call them again the next time I need work on my roof.
