Since the liquid asphalt in blacktop needs time to harden and cure, usually 6-12 months, your asphalt will remain somewhat soft and pliable until then. You may walk on your asphalt immediately, but keep automobile traffic off it for at least 3 full days and longer on hotter temperatures. Although not as hard as concrete, your asphalt has many advantages and when fully cured will be very durable.

Found them doing an asphalt repair in our subdivision and asked if they could take a look at the area where our concrete driveway meets the street. A small repair for sure but important for us as there was a significant amount of erosion developing.
The crew foreman was very understanding and met me at the house 5 minutes later, quoted me a price for the repair and said he'd return shortly after he finished another job.
Sure enough, within an hour they were back with fresh hot asphalt. The crew cleaned & sealed the erosion, started shoveling in the hot mix and contouring it, packing it and spreading

We live on a private street with 3 different families wanting their driveways asphalted. We all did our research and after finding C.E.G we are so happy we ended up getting our work done by them! They were prompt with coming out from the start. Steve was the man who came out to give us the bid he was overly nice, and quick to listen to what we were wanting. We were able to get all three driveways done in 2 days ( mind you ours is a pretty good size hill with large parking space). All 3 families are so pleased with the work! We would refer this company to anyone who is needing work!! Great people

We worked with CEG for over a year in preparation for having our subdivision road and our driveway resurfaced and they were very easy to work with. Steve, their estimator made multiple visits to our site at our request to insure that we were both seeing the project the same. CEG provided us with two great bids and we selected them instead of the other two contractors. Being local was part of the decision making process. They showed up early on Wednesday September 22 and got right to work. The driveway resurfacing was completed in just over two hours before they tackled the road resurfacing. The

to completely re-pave the driveway, and they responded quickly. Their fee was reasonable and they were able to begin the job within a very reasonable amount of time. I spent hours researching companies to pave our long, uneven, gravel driveway. It was so embarrassing to have anyone come over just due to our driveway alone. These guys showed up on time, did the work and left our property looking better than it did before they came. Steve did a great job measuring and selling the asphalt. He was super knowledgeable and didn’t talk down to me. Starla was easy to deal with at their office. Mike was extremely competent running the crew and equipment. They didn’t screw around and did beautiful work. I will always call them for now on.
