Gilbert Painting & Construction Service

We hired Gilbert for a job at our commercial building, and he was competitive on the price as well as great on communication. Gilbert and his team were very professional, clean, fast and exceptionally great! I would highly recommend them to do the job, big or small.

The job took over 2 weeks when told 1 week. The boards used for replacing 2x4’s were to be new, yet we got wood that was cracked and split. The estimate had all new materials for our house and not leftover materials. The paint job and caulking didn’t last a Summer. Front door and house was not painted twice as agreed upon and the front door started showing the underneath door color within months. We felt they used wood leftover from other jobs. We complained a lot and did not pay the entire invoice. All wood was suppose to be new. Our house needed to be repainted and wood replaced after one

We were pleased with the work that Gilbert Painting did at our home. They painted exterior of home and painted the interior as well. They removed the popcorn ceiling finish in one large room and did an outstanding job of refinishing that ceiling. Gilbert Jr and Gilbert, Sr were both attentive and easy to work with on our extensive paint project.

I would not recommend Gilbert's Painting for anything! I had a nightmare of an experience with him. I own a small house in Garland and our management company had contracted with him to paint numerous houses in our subdivision, including mine.
Before he was to paint the houses, he was to look at each of them to see what exactly had to be done for each. He called me and said that there is wood rot and asked me if I wanted him to repair the wood rot before he painted and the cost would be $300. As I live in another state, I was not able to actually see the rot for myself and did not remember seeing
