I hired pete to install 160' vinyl post and rail after discussing with several other vendors. They just finished job. The crew's attention to detail was much better than I've experienced in the past. Everything plumbs perfectly. Pete insists his customer be on site to specify precise fence line and where there is a gradient in the line how to handle it with the fencing. Unlike some others, they bring a real cement mixer and use a full 24 inches of wet cement for each post (maybe a little overkill but that's how some fencing lasts and some require nearly constant maintenance

I am very happy with the outcome of my fence installation. I did not realize all the potential issues and decisions involved with installing a large section of fencing (over 500 linear feet). Pete competently and clearly walked me through everything. Advice concerning brush and root clearing to boundary decisions, break lines and gate placement. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and has a good sense of aesthetics. I doubt I would have gotten this level of advice and insight from other installers. My new solid fence wasn't put from the ground up, which later I was told a space is left for snow/hummm I had said to them that the fence was to keep my dogs out so Why would I want any space!!!!! I had to pay someone else to close up the space!!!!!! Not Good! Very Rude too

Pete is the nicest guy. No bs. Fully transparent on pricing and timing. Best of all was the quality of the job. He worked with us to come up with a vegetable garden solution to keep the critters out and it looks sweet. Any question I had he happily answered. I'm a fully satisfied customer and would use him on my next job 100%.

This guy is rude and very 'off'. We tried to get to his location several times. When we went in to try to talk to him about putting a fence around our pull he became irate because we showed him a picture of another fencing job we had done last year in our back yard. He told us to get out of his store and that he wouldn't work with us. What a horrible experience. Like we were in the twilight zone. Anyhow, steer clear of this guy and this place

We just completed a pool fencing project with North Fork Fence in Mattituck and we are extremely happy with the way the project was handled and the final result. We would only use North Fork Fence for any future fencing projects.
Pete, the owner and his team are professional, courteous and really know fencing. Pete meticulously reviewed our survey to make sure the fence was placed properly and met all pool code requirements. We had a bunch of obstacles in completing the project. Pete spent considerable time with us explaining the options and working through the solutions. Just one example

I dont know what other reviewers experienced. We had a straightforward, professional experience and I would recommend these guys again. Deer fence, Picket fence, repair of old gate, integration of old and new fences. Everything came out fine. Price was agreed upon and set up and install was based on our requested schedule..

We visited North Fork Fence to get an estimate for fencing in our property. Jerry was out fishing and his wife assured us he would call back with an estimate......... 2 weeks ago! No call! He must still be fishing. Will not go back. Would rather deal with a company that is not local if they have better customer service!

I needed a 1/2 acre fence to keep the dogs in and keep the deer out. Pete recommended 6' high black "chicken wire" ( which really looks like light-weight Chain link. My installation was difficult due to the undergrowth and wild vegetation. North Fork met the challenge and installed the fence beautifully. I did not have to specify cross-bracing and tension wires and post caps and all the details that a crooked installed could have charged as "extras."

When I had a minor problem where old fence met new fence, they sent a guy out to fix it right away.

No deer have

We had a Jerith fence installed to deter deer from entering our yard. We were assured that the height and quality of the fence would do the trick. It seems that a deer ran into the fence cracking the post and bending the section. North Fork Fence denied it ever gave us any assurances. The owner gave us a quote for repair we said we would call Jerith to ask them about a warranty. He abruptly hung up on us and has not returned our calls. After paying this company $6400 this was the way we were treated!
