I had wind damage to my section of fence between my house and the property line fence. This section contained the gate for access to my rear yard. I called the company requesting a bid to replace the fence. Within a couple days an estimator came bye and did an estimate. The Office called within a few days with a installation date of this weekend, the team showed up on time and the job was completed within a few hours. Nice job Hallett Fencing.

DO NOT use Mike Hallett fencing; he himself is very unprofessional and the workmanship he provides of the so called finished product is very very sloppy, crooked, not level, indifferent and unacceptable. All of the UPC labels and staples on the fencing material are not removed before installation and are impossible to remove once the boards are nailed in place; they use a nail gun excessively that drives the nails so far into the fence boards that it’s impossible to remove a board so you or someone else can straighten the pickets and reinstall them. They use several split fence boards on a brand

Talked to mike over the phone and they came out within a week to give me an estimate. I know I called during a very busy time because fences were getting blown down here the last couple months. Definitely satisfied with there work and would use them again. They came out within a month of the estimate and wasn't a problem because I called a couple other company's and they couldn't give me a estimate for 4 months of my phone call. Give them a call for all your fencing needs!!

My neighbors used this inferior company to install fencing. Some of their fencing extended into my back yard. The owner Mike Hallet and his daughter Amy do not have a care in the world for quality work. Their crew have zero customer service skills and are merely concerned with getting the fence up in any way, shape or form. Although I did not pay for this company to do any work for me, I still am forced to look at their shoddy work in the corner of my backyard. Do yourself a favor Mike, retire! Take Amy with you! I called this company several months ago to have an estimate written up for a RV access gate. Amy showed up and proceeded to belittle me when I showed her the area and tried to explain what type of gate I wanted. I asked her for suggestions and she said, "It's your house. You should know what type of gate you want." I was a bit surprised by her comment and told her that was why I called them to build it. Mike's crew were on the job at the time Mike said. A couple of questions about the job and they started working. Very fast and efficient working in such great teamwork. Wrapped up around 8 hours and cleaned up after themselves and our yard. I would hire them again for more work in the future. Thank you Mike and crew!!

Mike's crew completed a relatively small fencing job for us. The work done was very good and his crew even put the River rocks back which wasn't their responsibility.The work was a little pricey but we were happy with the end result.

I had Mike install a new gate and replace a fallen fence.
The fence was good.
The gate was a disaster.
The workmanship on the inside the gate was like a beginner would have done. The gate latch does not stay closed. Big blocks of left over wood cuts to support the gate.
I called Mike and told him I was disappointed with gate and he said he would send someone out to fix things but never did.
They are good at fences but fail at a gate.

Company came out to bid for a small portion of our fence that came down in the last wind storm along with a few other week spots. She seemed less than impressed with our small job but promised to email the bid the next day. Well that was 8 days ago and no bid or communication. No one has to take a job they don't want but at least say that, not just lie then blow the customer off. Very unprofessional.

Mike & his crew built 100ft of a 7ft privacy fence. It is a high quality and a sturdy redwood fence. He used 4x6 pressure treated posts on my fence. The other companies only quoted 4x4 posts. They use 2x4 & 2x6 top boards to make the fence sturdier. Fence is in a very windy area near Tracy. My fence comes with a ten year warranty. It is expected to last twenty five years. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent fencing company. The first time we hired it was a few years back when we installed our pool. And for information that was about 13 years ago and fence still looking awesome and standing strong even with years of large dogs jumping on it. Now our other side fence was ready for replacement. Everything from the quote to the work was in a very timely manner. Very professional and goes over and beyond for their costumers. I highly recommend them and I will use them anytime I need fencing.

I wasn't sure what to expect due to the number of negative reviews here. I was hoping I hadn't made a mistake agreeing to have Mike and his guys replace our fence....
Nope, not a mistake.
Mike and his guys were professional and efficient. Showed up on time, all materials were as quoted. Quick removal of old fence and reconstruction of new. New fence actually has an additional horizontal rail that adds a bunch of strength.
Very satisfied.
Only caveat would be (with any contractor), if you want your old concrete footings removed, make sure that is quoted. It is not uncommon for contractors

My wife and I have used Hallett twice for our fencing needs. Our first experience was mediocre. He uses the cheapest materials available and his prices were "okay".
Against my better judgement, we again used Hallett when we moved into our new home in Ripon. This time around, I was not home while the fence was built. Upon returning home from work, I immediately inspected the work and was disappointed to discover that Hallett had not replaced two of my old fence posts as agreed. I should also note that I had already paid for the pressure-treated posts which were not installed. Rookie mistake

Mike and his crew did exactly like Mike said they would. Remove my fence 120 feet finished in 1 day. Installed a new redwood fence overlap style for privacy looks awesome. All my neighbors are jealous & are going to use him for their fence. I highly recommend this company. Quality guys fast and efficient.
