SunnyCal Solar can help prepare for your energy future by reducing or eliminating your utility bill with Solar. Solar systems requiring high surge current during startup can now avoid unexpected BMS shutdown. The SCS-48100 is a 5kW 48v battery that can surge from 100A to 400A for 3 minutes without shutdown.
SunnyCal Solar, a full service solar provider since 2006, offers complete design and installation services to residential and commercial customers. We serve Amador, Calaveras, Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. SunnyCal designs & installs residential and commercial solar power systems. Services
SunnyCal Solar Inc, was launched in 2011 to provide one-stop solutions for infrastructure and energy management projects. Our ambition is to provide customers with comprehensive solutions with a single point of contact. Our staff has decades of experience in the areas of electrical and solar engineering.
SunnyCal solar actively maintains a dealer network to support customer in various locations. Our dealers sell or install SunnyCal products according to their specialty (electric versus solar heating). The dealers operate independently of SunnyCal Solar, but have direct access to our sales and engineering staff.
The SunnyCal Solar Store provides local residents and solar installers with a wide range of off-the-shelf energy-related products. Located on the main highway 49 corridor in Jackson CA, The Solar Store serves the Sacramento, Amador and Calaveras communities. We offer a complete stock of solar equipment and kits for homeowners and DYI installers.
Solar power is now available to energize outdoor tables and eating spaces. The ShadeCharger(TM) module turns a standard picnic table into a solar-powered workstation. 110v AC power and USB outlets deliver solar power to the table surface without need for utility power. The overhead solar shade structure contains all the electrical functions.
Some solar equipment, and most batteries, cannot be placed outdoors without protection from the elements. The single most important thing solar owners can do to increase the lifetime of solar equipment is to shield them from excessive heat and moisture swings; a solar shed can help in both areas. Sunnycal sheds come in various formats to suit customer preferences.

Excellent Service!
I am building a custom home and living "off grid." Steve and his company made this possible. The system along with the batteries allow me to live completely off grid (with some generator support during persistently cloudy weather). Speaking of the generator, Sunny Cal set me up so my generator could run centrally and power everything during extremely cloudy weather. That means my RV (all the appliances) and my well pump 24/7. This was essential, since during the winter this year we weeks of no sunlight.
Alex went above and beyond. He was at my property quickly and there every

I was very satisfied with Steve's technical knowledge of equipment. I have an engineering background and immediately was assured he knew his products. Steve was not pushy at all when he arrived to look at the job.
The installation crew were excellent and very particular about all aspects of the ground mount array, and all the associated equipment. I was available the entire time and they consulted with me on a regular basis on different options and the best location to mount several components.
Becky in the office was outstanding in helping with all the hurdles I encountered with PG&E in getting

Overcharges for products, claims that products were in stock instantly tries to take payment only to find out that he has to order them from China. You can buy the same products online for much less. Literally added $1,600 to a $2,200 inverter. You definitely feel like you're talking to a used car salesman with this guy. Charges 450 per hour for labor. Caught this guy in several lies. Would definitely avoid

Sunny Cal installed our solar system in Jamestown, CA. It was excellent and professional. We were linked with PGE and had great tech support to monitor our usage and true-up. We sold the house (solar was a plus in selling). We moved and now have a large array and we are off the grid. We love it! They have continued to give us service. Steve came right out when there was a small problem. Alex came out when we had something not set correctly. Wonderful service from Becky, Dave, Alex, Bill and all others. All employees are service-minded! We're looking into wind power now.

Last week I had set up an on-site review at my property for 4:00 p.m. with the understanding that I needed to be finished no later than 5:00 p.m. as I had other commitments to attend to. I waited for Steve until 4:50 p.m. then called his office and cell phone to reschedule. While I was getting cleaned up before leaving for town, he finally showed up 55 minutes late at 4:55 p.m. We told him we’d have to reschedule which I did by calling his office and making arrangement for another day…
Today I receive this terse email:
“I see a meeting was scheduled for us to meet at your house on Monday

Best Solar installer in the greater Sacramento Valley hands down. Steve is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all aspects of solar. Whether you are looking for ground mount or roof mount, a solar carport, battery back up or need a new inverter, give Scuba Steve a call. Also, I really like that they are a family business, alas they treat (me) their customers like family. Becky is office manager and she is on top of her game. Thanks guys!

Summer 2015 I did a solar self-install of 24 panels in two arrays on the roof of my home, and SunnyCal Solar was at my side the entire way, from materials and layout estimation, to wiring, to PG&E application and setting up on-line monitoring. Becky bent over backwards to appease my requests and questions. Alex and Brad went out of their way to answer my install questions, even coming to my house to discuss options and concerns. Steve, (I believe company president) who also head-up the install class they offer, was always a phone call away and quick to answer emails.
