As an abutting landowner I have had a front row seat the past few months for a DOT project in Keene. The project was constructing a roundabout at the intersection of NH Rte 9 and Base Hill Road. I looked forward to a much safer intersection and it certainly is now that the roundabout is operational.
The Mark E. "Killer" Bates '75 Memorial Scholarship has been established in Mark's memory to provide significant financial assistance to New Hampshire students attending Plymouth State University and are seeking a bachelor's degree in Physical Education or Business. The goal is to help deserving individuals within Mark's community achieve their career goals and objectives, which has the added benefit of bettering his community at large.
