Although these 5x5 units are small, they are an excellent size to store all of your extra items, like garden tools, seasonal items, office supplies, or your miscellaneous boxes. This size unit yields a total of 50 square feet of space, perfect for storing an entire bedroom or office.
Understanding the right size for your needs is easy with our online storage guide. All Stor-A-Way facility's units can be rented at the main office on Miller Avenue in Marion, Indiana from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday. You can also call your local Stor-A-Way facility and schedule a time to meet the manager at the facility to rent your unit.
Start by gathering as many boxes as you think you will need as well as tape, markers, and packing material (e.g., foam shipping noodles, bubble wrap, packing paper or towels). Make up an inventory list of your items and keep it in a safe place (at home or in a safe deposit box) away from the unit. Be sure your boxes are strong enough to hold 25-30 pounds (although we suggest not putting too much in each box).
