These units have gates that are open to the public all week! Jessica ( the supposed manager) told me I didn't get an itemized bill every month because I had a lease and the lease states the money is due at a certain time every month so legally she didn't have to inform me of when the bill was due. Within 3 minutes of her stating that, she said "we have no lease with you" therefore we can not allow you access to the unit you have been paying on for 6 years. Approximately $5400 that they have taken from me. So IF you have no lease with me, then why wasn't I notified long

Needed a storage unit and needed it pretty soon. Turned out, the door jammed and had to be fixed before I could rent it, so I had to stall for a couple days but they got it working. Jessica, Tom, Mary Beth, and someone else whose name I don't recall were all very professional, responsive and accommodative through the process. The unit is in the older section but is in decent condition considering its age.

I stopped in today to look at storage for my business. I was met with an older gentleman (sorry didn't get a name) who showed us a model of a unit. There was tape on the floor that "mapped out" sizes of units. He stood on the first tape and said "this is a 10x10". I've worked with storage units before and I knew their measurements were off. So I asked for a tape measure and after measuring the taped out 10x10, they were shorting people about 14". It barely came to 9ft. When I asked the gentleman about it he seemed to brush it off. I had previously posted about how the elevator was unavailable when I moved into my third floor storage unit. Next Door Storage informed me that there was a power outage and they didn't know it had effected the elevator. So their elevators are available on the weekend. However, be aware that they do not have an emergency line, so if this or something else happens again, you are on your own. They did end up compensating me with a free month.

This place is the worst. Ordered a unit through uhaul and opon arriving at the place they said I had no unit waiting for me. Finally dealt with all the bs and they gave me a code that didnt open the gate, so I was sitting at the gate with a uhaul full of stuff and nowhere to go, had to come back the next day and pay for an additional uhaul truck rental change. And as a cherry on top, when I went to pick my stuff up after 6 months half my furnature had mold on it. THICK MOLD. It was disgusting and they coulnt care less about it. Thanks for nothing Next Door Self Storage, your company is horrible

You get what you pay for......getting paperwork done at the Algonquin location was a pain since she thought I was someone entirely different for the first 30 minutes. Add another long painfully slow 30 minutes and I finally got out of there. (So much for signing up online.) I was given the wrong code to get in. THANK GOD another customer was there later on when I came back and he let me in, otherwise I would have been screwed since it was after hours. Late fees are RIDICULOUS, and it's supposed to be my problem that their online system was not working. I did not get my email reminder and
