Our showroom and fabrication shop is located in Bellaire, Houston off of Alder Drive. We're open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Schlitzberger Stone Design is a Houston-based countertop fabricator and installer servicing the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. We offer a variety of commercial and residential services including: kitchen counterops, bathroom countertops, showers, fireplaces, mantles, memorials and engravings.

Very nice and professional. So happy with all of our stone work! The company is family owned and three generations of working with stone. David the owner opened Schlitzberger Stone Design's over 20 years ago. Picking up his skill and love for marble and granite from his father and grand father. David still works close with his Dad which is awesome. They make beautiful monuments, engraving, sand blasting, and working in new custom homes or remodels. Pretty, much anything you can imagine they can accomplish. The machinery they have is very impressive. Very few stone fabricators can compete with

David and his team were awesome. I had a granite remnant I needed fabricated and installed. They were able to come to my house, fab, and install in 2 hours. This was an unconventional request that other granite fabricators in town could not accommodate. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them.

I was in the market for engraving a piece of granite. I found schlitzbeger stone on google and called them. I cant say enough about them, they went above and beyond what I could have expected with the end result of the product! They were more than willing to accommodate my needs and worked with my design to better it. I highly recommend this company for all of your stone work!

I was in the market for new granite counter tops and I had a few friends who recommended this company to me due to their quality designs and detail. I called and spoke to the owner his name is David. He came out to the house and did the measurements. The next step, he had me join him at the stone yard where we browsed a wide variety of stone choices that was in the price range that I could afford for this project. I would not at all recommend Schlitzberger Stone Design. One true measure of a fabricator is its willingness to admit error and 'make it right' for their customer. SSD fell far short -- pictures tell it all.
In July 2015, we contracted with SSD to install quartzite counter, island and bar tops in our kitchen. The counter top was to consist of two pieces, joined by one seam. Despite SSD (Tommy and David Schlitzberger) measuring the space twice and creating two paper templates, the top installed in December 2015 was of very poor fit, due solely to cutting and/or measuring errors (i.e., our kitchen

Let me start by saying that I did not actually buy any services from them, but rather got a quote for install of counter tops.
It is hard to say if Tommy was trying to insult me, or just not good at communicating. My perception is that if you make less than $500,000 /yr, this is not the company for you. I just bought my first home. It is a fixer upper, in a blue collar neighborhood, and I am quite a conservative saver. Enough about me, and more about my experience:
