The Country Picker was founded in 1974, first as an antique business that specialized in estate sales and appraisals. Responding to the needs of the Mount Washington Valley and surrounding area, the company transitioned into a moving and storage business.
Owners Cathy Nealon and Philip LeBlanc purchased the company in 2007 (forming New Hampshire Moving & Storage LLC) and shortly thereafter acquired Tom Daley Moving, a long-established Carroll County NH local moving company.Over the years, The Country Picker has moved thousands of families and hundreds of businesses and has grown to be a sizable independent mover, operating moving vans and providing nationwide moving services.

Full Pack - packers come to your home or business and expertly wrap and pack all items; boxes are labeled to ensure they arrive to the correct location. Unpack - packers unpack and put away items as directed or labeled by boxes when requested. The Country Picker Moving & Storage offers a full line of moving, packing and storage services, all customized to meet your needs.

The industry defines small moves are moves involving 2,000 pounds or less - about 1 rooms of furniture. An estate sale or "estate distribution" where the owner of a home is sending furniture to other family members in different parts of the country. Over the past 34 years The Country Picker has grown, and much of that growth has come about by serving our customers long-distance moving needs.

Great guys. Professional, neat, attentive and orderly. Had them move things into 3 different locations and all was done well and without incident. We have hired them again to move us out of a rental property and will hire them again to bring everything to our new home when it is completed.

Country Pickers just helped me relocate my 85-yr old sister from an assisted living facility in FL to one in Hampton, NH. Phil, went above and beyond to accommodate my narrow window to get it all done. I cannot thank then enough.
Dave & his helpers at each end were amazing. I was impressed with how efficiently and carefully they packed everything in Florida and unpacked everything in NH. Dave certainly has a "can do" attitude. He was also most accommodating.
I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who is planning a move.

Country Pickers were excellent to work with. They were professional, kind & courteous from planning, packing, to unpacking & placing furniture. There were a few minor damages done during the move but was quickly resolved. They hired a professional company to come in and fix the issues which was done completely to our satisfaction.

Country Picker helped me out of a tight spot. I was moving to the area and the service that I had hired through U-Haul to unload the van was unable to make it. And they told me that only two days before the move. I was in a tough spot.
Phil at Country Picker reassured me that he could help out and his prices were reasonable. We were late arriving, but his team was very flexible in accommodating us. They were very friendly and professional, and unloaded the van in no time. The cost was even a little less than I expected. I could not be happier!

I recently moved to another town in NH, with back to back closings. Despite my closing date getting pushed back numerous times, Phil always had me covered. The movers were careful with my stuff and made moving look easy. Everyone is well trained. And I could always get a friendly voice in their office. I would definitely recommend using Country Pickers.
