With over 25 years of experience and a degree in Interior Design from San Diego State University, Liz Barton has turned her profession into a lifelong passion. She takes an artist's look at each space, balancing the competing demands of function and aesthetic appeal. It's Liz's goal with every project to design a space that you'll always love to come home to.
We recently worked with Liz on a full-house remodel including new hardwood floors, custom cabinets, stone and paint, amongst other things. Although we had our own ideas of what we liked (kitchen granite, hardwood floor look), Liz tied everything together for us through direction on colors, complimentary tile, paint color, etc. Working with Liz was very easy, almost relaxing, even in the most critical decision-making situations.

So many shades of gray . . . literally. How do you choose? After spending hours with a color wheel from the paint store, I finally decided to call Liz Barton, owner of Barton Design. She came over and helped me pick the right paint colors for my house. She was able to match what I wanted to my tile, which is no easy task. Liz has a great eye. I am looking forward to using her on future design projects. She is very creative and effortless to work with! She has great resources for indoor and outdoor furniture. In talking to her I was really surprised to find out she can help you at the pre-design
