Services
They began by renting the back half of Traverse City Frame and Axle at 525 1/2 W. Front St., Traverse City, MI. In 1983, they constructed an office in the back to separate the work zone and provide comfort to the customers. Later in 1983, they also opened a second branch in Charlevoix. They were running out of space as the business was flourishing.
I was very impressed with the customer service at Twin Bay Glass. They cut a custom mirror to fit an old frame. After installing it myself, a crack developed several days later. I brought it back in today to have the mirror replaced. They did so on the spot in just a few minutes. When I went to pay, they refused payment and asked that I would consider them in the future.
We cover a full spectrum of residential glass needs for replacements, updates, and new build/projects. And yes, we still give free estimates. European-style (or Euro) glass shower enclosures and doors are a classic frameless design with a high-end look. The modern style is open and clean with stylish hardware.
Tastes change in textured glass. At any given time, manufacturers may discontinue or run out of certain patterns of textured glass. This is a selection of just one manufacturer at a snapshot in time. These samples give a spectrum of the many glass textures available - but the exact texture may not be.
Our commercial glass experience spans clients in government, education, restaurants, retail, airports, and many other public buildings. Our work is seen at Traverse City's Copper Ridge professional development, Crystal Mountain Resort, Cherry Capital Airport, the Grand Traverse County Courthouse, and beyond.

My husband and I purchased a custom shower door from Twin Bay Glass and were very impressed from start to finish with the level of customer service and professionalism. The door turned out exactly how we wanted because they took the time to ask the right questions and listen. It is beautiful and we love the way it opens/closes. We will absolutely come back for all of our glass and mirror needs!

I am, unfortunately, a somewhat frequent customer because the original house windows keep shattering, about one every winter. Bonnie and the team at Twin Bay Glass have been phenomenal at replacing the glass, and none of the replacements have had a single issue. The cost is very reasonable. They also replaced the glass in my front door, which had a BB hole before I moved in. That was a HEAVY wood door, and they took care with the frame around the window when it was replaced. I also like that I could save money by bringing my windows and door in directly, instead of paying for the house call. Glad

Super fast and friendly service!! I had a couple rocks land on my front windshield on M-72 leaving very bad cracks, Twin Bay glass was right there to replace it (almost) the next day!!
Their new location has a very welcoming reception area with a beautiful Petoskey Rock table!

Had a small crack on my windshield on my month old 2020 truck. My insurance covered it, but the place they wanted me to get it done at was almost 2 weeks out for an appointment. My insurance gave me some partner shops, and Twin Bay was one of them. I called (and per the other 1 star review it does say please hold immediately, but that didn't bother me one bit since all other reviews were amazing) and they were able to get me in the next morning, less than 20 hours after I had called, that's amazing! The staff inside was very friendly, and I was out in less than 45 minutes. I definitely recommend

We needed to have the glass in a medical scanning device replaced, and they did an excellent job. This is not your usual request and the first try did not go exactly as planned, but what really impressed me was the second effort. My device is now working well again, and our patients say thank you to Twin Bay Glass for your excellent customer service.

Worst company to deal with. We received a quote a month ago, and have been calling back ever since. The lady who answer the phones (Bonnie) is very nice. I actually feel bad for her. Nathan, their salesman, never calls back. And apparently he just piles the quotes in his office.
Ended up finding By The Bay Glass, it's apparently run by a former Twin Bay employee. MUCH better experience. He calls back right away, my windows are FINALLY on order after a month. Check Doug out if you don't want to be ignored.
