Based in the Southeast, STP Tile began as a women-owned business - a rarity in the construction field. With more than 25 representatives, 18,000 square feet of premium showroom space and three distribution warehouses, we inventory over 800,000 square feet of tile and 1,000 setting material SKUs, representing 150 vendors.
Our representatives average about 10 years of industry experience and go through over 50 hours of training when they join our team. We believe that guiding designers and architects about the products they are specifying is essential to ensuring success. STP Tile has been a flooring master distributor for 25 years.
We import tile, stone and luxury vinyl from around the world, specializing in commercial projects of all sizes. We carry only the highest-quality products and partner with our designers and architects to ensure their specifications turn out beautifully every time, all the way through the completed construction process.

Services
The single most important step in caring for your porcelain floor is the complete removal of setting materials, grout residue, and/or any construction residue from the surface of the tiles before they have a chance to dry. In most cases, porcelain tiles can be cleaned successfully by scrubbing the installation with a neutral pH detergent cleaner followed by a thorough rinsing with water.
At the heart of Specialty Tile Products are fun, stylish and committed people. We are 75 employees and growing - an eclectic bunch of former installers, former manufacturer reps, and designers - people with diverse experiences. Some of us have been with the company for more than 20 years, a testament to our expertise and company culture.

I did not have a good experience here. It was not easy getting someone to answer my question. When I did have a minute with a designer (?), she first corrected my pronunciation of the tile name and then she criticized the tile I had chosen. She at least tried to be subtle by asking questions like, "Why did you choose THIS tile?" and "What made you decide not to just use your countertop marble for the backsplash?" and "Did you think about how THIS tile would look in THAT room?" I definitely felt that she was talking down to me. I was not wearing heels and pearls, nor

Made a call to make the first of many tile orders to do a wholehouse re-gut job - tile picked online and all ready to check out, just had a lead time question, but customer service person named Kim picked up the phone call and was extremely rude and was unknowledgeable. And then suddenly just left me on hold and a voice mail came on. Which is fine that she forwarded my phone call to someone who has more knowledge, but not in the rude and uncommunicative way that she did. Now am seriously rethinking about buying at this place due to the poor first impression.

I am a designer and in the middle of a kitchen project and was looking for some high end unique tile. I was intending to spend some good money on tile for my project. I have never worked with this company before and now I know why. From the moment I walked up to the front door (which was locked at 3pm and then opened begrudgingly by an associate who couldn't even greet me with a smile) I knew I should have just walked out. There were at least 6 associates in the store and maybe 2 customers. I walked around for 20 minutes looking at the selections and could not get a single person to answer

Very disappointed with the service at the store.
1. Went in once and got a quote. That sales person did not inform us that there would be a substantial shipping charge added
2. Went in again to purchase. Was told of shipping charge and to the stores credit I did get a discount. Was told delivery would take 5 business days
3. After 7 business days, no delivery. Called and leaned that order hadn't even been packed/left California yet. And no phone call, anything to let us know.
Cancelled order and will now have to figure out how to keep project on schedule after this. Unhappy

I made an appointment with a sales representative at the Miami Circle show room and took time off work to work on a bathroom project. I had seen a beautiful Italian tile in the show room but she was very reluctant to even check on availability and delivery for me. Instead, she led me to another choice which I was only half happy about. It turns out she never called me back or email me to let me know if either of the choices were available. What a waste of time!

I recently purchased tile to update my kitchen backsplash from Specialty Tile. Even though my project wasn't large, I was given great customer service and the tiles that they helped me pick out look great. People think someone from HGTV came and redid my kitchen. Selection at Lowe's would not have yielded the same results but I actually had someone with design experience help me make my selections. Highly recommend. I shopped at the Norcross showroom.

If you're looking for something a little unusual for a renovation project, or simply want to see a wide assortment of tiles to get ideas for your own place, I would highly recommend a trip to Specialty Tile. The tile showroom has tons of designer and art tiles to look at. The staff is very friendly and can answer any questions about tiling or decor questions.
The tiles they offer are definitely more expensive than what you would find at say either Home Depot or Lowe's, but that's why they are a specialty store. They stock the more interesting and hard to find selection. Next time
