They were able to make it out and fix the issue same day! We didn't have to take any additional time off work to correct our garage door especially around the holidays!

Technician was friendly, quick, and efficient. He arrived very soon after the call was placed, fixed the problem without issue, and even gave us some tricks and tips on how to make better use of our garage door. While the cost was a little higher than anticipated, the service was great and we were advised that the new springs should last 10 years, which more than made up for it.

Precision was very prompt in responding to a keypad problem at a rental property. Turn around time was short and the technician was most professional, tried several things to repair rather than replace, which we appreciated. In the end the keypad had to be replaced, which Andrew did, set up the code for us and completed the work in a timely manner! We will call this company again. The two repairmen that came were very professional and knew what they were doing. They came quickly after I called for an appointment. I was very pleased with the work they did. However, their company installed the garage door to begin with. And I was still charged for them coming to fix it. It is my belief that if it is your fault that it doesn’t work right, you should fix it without charge. We didn’t do anything to cause the problem, yet we had to pay to get it fixed. When all is said and done, I am glad it is fixed even if I did have to pay for it. I would call them again if another problem

Steve and his guys installed garage doors on my 2-stall horse barn that I'm converting to use as a second garage. It was an unusual install that required a some very creative problem solving to accomplish. In addition to the custom nature of the job, I'm EXTREMELY particular, and I ask a LOT of questions. I know that can be a challenge for some contractors. Not for Precision though!
The owner Steve was extremely patient with every one of my concerns from start to finish. He was attentive to both the functional and aesthetic details. He even made the suggestion that they use some old fencing boards

Disappointed...three weeks ago I had this company fix my garage door because it was off track. They responded the next day and the tech
suggested that I also have the rollers replaced which I agreed. The total including the service call was $241.00.
Today a flag pole fell in the track unbeknownst to me and of course the door went off track so I called the company to fix it. The total was $135.00 for the service call with no parts replaced.
I understand that a business has to make a profit to stay open but I was hoping for a discount and it did not happen.
By the way, a big sticker was placed

Contracted with Precision Door Service of Lexington based on Angie's List reviews and the reviews on Precision's website. I assumed based on these reviews that they would do a quality job at a competitive price. Prior to arranging for Precision to do the work I obtained quotes from 3 local competitors to replace my garage door springs with quality long life replacement springs. All 3 companies are reputable and have been in business for many years. The 3 all inclusive quotes were: Competitor R - $210, Competitor O - $220, Competitor A - $205. I've had my garage door serviced by this business 3 times and I've had nothing but great experience with them. I never felt like I was being manipulated or coaxed by them. All 3 times I've dealt with them, they were able to fix the problem same day and in a timely manner. Just an FYI, their service fee is around $75.

Working with Precision Garage Door was great! Steve came out twice to give us quotes - once when we thought we would get one large garage door and again when we decided to keep the garage with two single car garage doors. Both times he came out quickly and was very professional.

I appreciate the fact that Precision Door Service sent out a technician (Roger) to diagnose the issue with my garage door and we talked through possible options to address the situation. I wasn't told I needed a new garage door immediately like the quote I got from another company. The work was done and the garage door functional the same day. A job well done and when the time comes to purchase a new door, I know where I plan to spend my money.
