The Brick Paver Dr. is a full service brick paver hardscape company, headquartered in Metro Detroit, with privately owned franchises available, offering a complete range of brick paver hardscape design, brick paver new installation, brick paver restoration, landscape and maintenance services for walkways, patios, steps, staircases and retaining wall projects.
A key segment of our business is brick paver hardscape restoration. This restoration includes diagnosing failures on brick paver walkway, steps, retaining walls or patios, using ICPI guidelines, and applying paver leveling, joint stabilization, plate compacting, cleaning, sealing and stripping basic practices.
The types of restoration projects we encounter could be a complex raised patio with steps, a five-foot-high retaining wall, a series of twenty steps in a wandering staircase, or an area simply with some settled brick pavers. In every situation, we follow the same basic steps in completing the restoration project.

There are numerous types of brick paver hardscape restoration projects we encounter every day, when meeting with prospective clients. When starting a new brick paver repair project, in almost every case we are identifying the root cause, disassembling the existing brick paver structure and reassembling in a manner which provides an "as new" appearance and prevents reoccurence of the existing problem.

The brick paver doctor repaired some steps and did some maintenance on a brick paver walkway at my father-in-law's house and did an outstanding job. They also designed and installed a beautiful fire pit in our backyard that we are using constantly and absolutely enjoy and we'll enjoy for many, many years to come. I was trying to get a quote from Vince Griffiths for power washing and resealing my pavers as well as replacing steps to patio door. He was very unprofessional, did not get back with me. When I finally reached him he says " he is not interested in power washing pavers that are not level and would require 2 - 3 days of repair work." He never said how much the repair work would be. The professional thing to do would have been to let me know what needed to be done and the cost. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional.
