We started business in Payson, AZ in late 2000. Originally Long's Drafting & Design, we decided to change the name to incorporate the associates we've gained along the way. We specialize in custom homes that are beautiful, functional, energy efficient, and cost effective. We have extensive experience designing commercial and industrial projects.

Our experience dealing with Long Design Associates will go on record as being the top 3 customer experiences for us, potentially at the top of the list. We found Shannon's demeanor to be condescending, dismissive, and arrogant. Dealing with Tom and his staff cost us a bunch of undue headache, uncertainty and frustration, not to mention lost time. If you require a business to return calls and emails, stand behind proposed work and estimates, and/or demonstrate a modicum of professional courtesy, we recommend you look elsewhere. Working with Shannon at Long Design was a great experience for us. We asked Shannon to help us design a 4 bedroom cabin and he did really great work. On top of the quality, he was very patient with us as we made changes throughout the 2-3 month process. This was the first time that we designed and built a home, so having Shannon's guidance and expertise was a huge plus. I'd work with him again and I highly recommend him to anyone that asks. We compare his rates with others and he was fairly priced.
