Our overall philosophy for tree care is that the less done to a tree the better - we prefer the minimum impact approach where possible. Obviously there are many situations where a tree may have become too big for its immediate environment and the people living within it or, there may be a hazard in letting limbs or trees get too large and a more extensive approach to cutting/trimming may be necessary.
Tree removals can range from a relatively straightforward process to involving more complex rigging and lowering where there are homes or other assets beneath a tree. We have 15+ years of tree removal experience, including trees in excess of 150 feet tall directly adjacent to multi-million dollar homes - without a single incident of damage.
At the end of every day I get back in the tree truck and go home - I do not live with the trees that i work on! This is the biggest point I stress with my clients - I may have opinions as to what is the best approach to tree care but what matters most is that my clients get the outcome that they are looking for.

Simon and his crew did an awesome job removing five large dead/dying trees and trimming back the limbs of an elm overhanging our property. Simon came promptly, the crew arrived as scheduled, and the cost was extremely reasonable and the work completed quickly and skillfully. Highly recommended!

Simon removed a dead tree a year ago and left the area without any debris. I called him again to trim a very tall tree which was hanging over the roof of my home.He stated the costs and procedure up front. I was pleasantly surprised that he removed a huge limb plus all the other branches and the trimmed the rest of the tree to perfection. He and Cameron are very, competent, polite, and professional.

I had questions about how to best care for the ash trees in our yard. Simon gave a generously informative consultation and taught me the best watering and trimming practices for keeping the trees wild and healthy. Turns out we can pretty much leave things as they are, and I can now knowledgeably trim off dead branches if I feel inclined. (I might leave them for birds.) But if at any point we need help with our trees, Paonia Tree Services will be our go-to.

Simon did an outstanding job. If you need a great tree service I suggest using him. Simon is a honest, straight up, business owner. He will tell you the truth and work with you. Symon and his crew did a wonderful job removing limbs and trees that were damaging our work building, They got right to work and got the job done quickly leaving no trace , as they shredded the limbs they removed . We then had them do some trimming on a maple at our home that was invading our neighbors driveway. They very quick with this as well, leaving no limbs, we will defiantly call on Symon to work for us again, very professional and reliable.

Simon and his very hard working colleague Cameron are a very professional, polite team! They have worked on my property 3 times at different times of the year on 100 yr old cottonwood trees and a steep bank of nasty elms. They show up on time, work hard w thoughtfullness about the property/trees/client until the job is complete including a good clean up. They don't disappoint!
