I don’t generally write reviews unless service is terrible or outstanding! In this case it was OUTSTANDING! From the time I called at 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon for a clogged AC unit which caused a soaked carpet in my family room until our technician left @ 8pm. Wimpy’s was amazing! When I called in a panic, I didn’t know it was the AC unit (I thought it was plumbing related) but the rep on the phone asked me a series of questions and determined that it was most likely the AC unit. Shady billing. Crooks. Leaking waste pipe in wall behind kitchen sink. Cut through hollow cement external wall to access pipe. 2 hours 10 minutes work time( including a trip to hardware store for a piece of PVC… $1800 bucks.. $900 an hour…. They wanted $4500 for the job to start… after questioning tech on site why so high he came back from calling his boss and lowered it to 1800. Still robbery. Manager blamed owner on “fixed rate” pricing. Professional plumber friend in another state said he would charge 500 bucks for the job.

Arrived as scheduled. Very well equipped, very knowledgeable. Technican modified the valve handle on the new valve so a seasonal shutoff cover would fit. Before leaving, the tech also took a look at another problem and made a quick adjustment and recommendation for a permanent repair. Overall very professional!

Used these guys once for a plumbing issue and was so impressed that I had them put in a new AC system. Two guys came out, took down the old system, installed the new system and were gone that afternoon. They made a special point of double checking the installation and sealing the ductwork. their price was good; not the cheap, but in line with other Hvac companies. Based on my two experiences, I wouldn't think twice about bringing them back, and I heartily recommend them.

Great company! Believe the reviews. They came on time and checked for a possible water leak. It turned out I didn't have one, but they did show me how to check down the road if I thought I may have one. While he was here, Anthony took a look at our dishwasher. It's always difficult for me to call any service company for my rental. Owning an AC business myself yet having to call a company that does plumbing and air was head scratching however I know the lingo so I looked for reviews to help guide me. Annual pipe inspection Employee was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He replaced the flap in one bathroom and unclog slow draining shower. He was able to give me a quote to replace a toilet and to remove and install a new bathroom cabinet, sink and faucet. Quote for toilet replacement was reasonable but I felt the quote to remove and install new cabinet, sink and faucet was very expensive even with a discount for having an annual contract with them, compared to other quotes I looked into.

These guys are the best. Back in October we had to have our whole house replumbed including sewage due to old cast iron pipes. They explained things so we understood the issues and what needed to happen, they were punctual, professional, kept our house clean despite massive digging due to our concrete foundation, and left things in a great condition. They were the best quote we got and were by far the most trustworthy and reliable.

We've been having issues with water pressure at our home for months. I called Wimpy's and made an appt for the following day. Jesse came out, was very polite, wore shoes to protect our floors. We explained what had been happening. Within minutes, he located the problem, and corrected it. The price was very reasonable. We were very happy. Wimpy's will be our go-to plumber in the future!

Overpriced and untrustworthy. They will charge you $220 to do a plumbing inspection and all you get is a few sentences for a report and no photos, no video, no nothing. You have to pay $475 to get the video, which is insane. So, of course the report is going to be bad if you don't pay for the proof. according to Wimpy's, the plumbing was completely trashed and I'd have to pay a huge amount for repairs. I had another plumber come out and, not surprisingly, the situation wasn't so dire. They also charged a lot less than Wimpy's AND I got a video. Not good business, Wimpy

I searched yelp for fridgidair repair and Wimpys pulled up. My problem was the connection to the ice maker on the back of the fridge was more leaking. The gentleman that came out put shoe coverings on, as well as a mask. This was very much appreciated as I just cleaned my floors the day before once I discovered the leak.
After looking at the problem he said he couldn't help us, as we needed an appliance repair company. If the leak had been where the water comes into the house he could have helped. I appreciate his honesty and not charging us for his stop. He was prompt, informative

Had a major backup late last night in our main pipe that caused one of our toilets and our kitchen sink to back up and overflow...BAD...while running the dishwasher. Total mess.
I called 5 plumbers...got 3 answering services who said they couldn't get anyone out until the following day, while another one said a tech would call me as soon as available...which never happened.
But when I called Wimpy's, a very nice gentleman named Mike answered, (who i later found out was the owner), and said he was en route to a job but would be able to get to out here within 1-2 hours, and would call

Called about A/C unit on a Saturday morning, they returned the call, and had a tech to me in less than an hour. He diagnosed the issue (I knew what it was), did not try to up sell me. They were respectful and fast. Good communication.
There was a $165 fee to come out on the weekend, plus the regular cost, but knocked out the 92 degree heat so it was worth it.

We chose Wimpy's for a new A/C based on positive reviews both on Yelp and Google and couldn't be happier. Professional, courteous, always in contact with us and fast. Price was comparable with others. It's never easy coughing up money for an A/C, but we're glad to have chosen Wimpy's.
Wimpy's offers Trane A/C units with a 10-year transferable warranty so we know the product is great and we can transfer the warranty to the new homeowner once we're able to run away from the oppressive Florida heat.

I called them and spoke with Marla and she dispatched a technician out the same day. He arrived to only find that another plumbing firm was already on sight. My dear mother-in-law suffers from Dementia and called another firm on her own, even though we spoke to her about Wimpy's coming out today.
Andrew called me 25 minutes out and then again when on-site and informed me of such. Super nice and very accommodating even though they basically wasted their time driving there and speaking with her.
They even warned me about a possibly fraud of the elderly , due to the "other company"
