They installed 8 LG 320 watt solar panels in our historic house in German Village. The process went smoothly. We had a good experience with Johnathan and his team at Modern Energy, they are very profesional. Also, we are very pleased with the way they handled all the permits with German Village commission and the city. Thank you to Modern Energy we became the first house in German Village with solar panels!

The overall process was good! Sure it took some time, lots of questions and decisions to be made, but this isn't something to rush into. Modern Energy did a good job of answering all my questions, and I had a lot. Before the installation, during, and after, the support has been great. The panels have been up for a few months and performing as expected. I do still ask questions from time to time, verifying numbers or just with curiosities, and Modern Energy is happy to help. If someone is even curious about solar talk to Modern Energy. It was a no pressure experience.

We have a great area for solar and/or wind power, so I thought I would get in touch with this company for an estimate and time frame that they could do it in. They make requesting this fairly easy through their website.
Apparently this company already has enough profit coming in, however. I never received any type of response by phone or email, not even to tell me they didn't want to do it. Don't let them waste your time like they wasted mine.

Modern Energy performed a home energy audit on my home in Powell Ohio. The men were very professional and clean. The company has a unique perspective on home energy performance which I enjoyed. They told showed me different options that could help me save energy and live more comfortable. Some of these improvements were adding blown in fiberglass insulation to my attic, switching out my current lights to LED lighting and they can also install solar power with battery backup, but unfortunately I have too many trees. I loved how honest they were and for the quality the price was perfect!

As a previous home inspector, I know the value of the proper depth and grade of attic insulation. Modern Energy came in with an accurate, not overstated, assessment of need, resulting in an adjustment of the level of blown-in insulation in the attic of my aging home. Very polite, safe, clean, not your typical contractors. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend it. At least get a free energy assessment you might be surprised what Modern Energy can offer you. Very budget friendly!

I had a great experience with Modern Energy- and would highly recommend this Dublin, Ohio firm. Their knowledge of solar installs and renewable energy is detailed- they understand their products and have no problem explaining them in full capacity.The staff is overly helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions. The energy audit made our decision that much easier- this is a dedicated hands on firm.
