As we've said before, you probably already know someone with a Carter's kitchen, but we'll install cabinetry in any room of your home. If you can think of it, we can do it. Carter's strives to complement the style and character of your home. The cabinets manufactured at our Roanoke, Virginia, facility are made of the highest-quality materials and are built using a combination of time-honored techniques and cutting-edge technology.

We design, manufacture and install cabinetry for your entire home: kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment centers, home offices, laundry rooms, libraries, garages, wine cellars.
Stock cabinets are usually built in 3 increments. Custom cabinets are built to fit the space they are going into and can be any width, depth or height. Many factors affect the final cost of your custom cabinets, and Carter's will explain the details of your estimate. Our cabinets are not always more expensive than stock units, but when they are, we stand by the added value of superior materials and workmanship.

Our initial visit to Carter's went very well. I met my husband there after work and we had an appointment with Mr. Ayers. He showed us everything we needed in order to renovate our existing kitchen. We had a few items picked out such as cabinet style and color as well as counter top options. We then had Mr. Ayers out to our house to get measurements and to also get an idea of the layout. Within 3-4 weeks we received the first few drawings. I did have to call Mr. Ayers twice in order to receive these drawings but I get it he's busy and these things take time. Back in August 2019 one of our kitchen cabinet doors got broke into four pieces. Just picked up the brand new door Carter's made and the matching of the stain and door itself is awesome! The cabinets were made in 1995, and look at the pictures and see how close it is to the original. We couldn't be happier, and know who to come back to in the future.

I worked with Dorothy at Carter’s Cabinet Shop to design my new kitchen and couldn’t be happier with the result. I now know what It means to have high quality cabinetry. They feel so solid, are spacious and look beautiful! The install team worked seamlessly together to fit everything perfectly. Dorothy was creative with the design and came up with the idea of a corner sink so that I now have 3 working counter spaces instead of only 2. I would highly recommend Carter’s! I have already asked them to be involved in my next renovation project. I was also so pleased with how well Dorothy worked

These guys are absolutely awesome at what they do! I can't say enough good things about the work that they do. I should have done this years ago as we have had our kitchen done for several years but even still today every time I walk in the house and see our kitchen I smile a little bit cause it just looks so damn good!
