Patton Lawn began to take shape in the mid 1990's when my brother Brock and I began mowing our neighbors house in Liberty, Missouri. Our business continued to grow and eventually my dad would spend Saturday mornings driving us around town to different mowing accounts since we were unable to drive. After receiving my drivers license we began to expand our business in the liberty area.
Once graduating high-school I was accepted to the University of Missouri School of Agriculture where I began to study horticulture with an emphasis in turf grass management. At this time my brother continued growing our lawn care business in the Northland area. Once I graduated from the University of Missouri I accepted a turf position with the Kansas City Royals.
Once the Royals season concluded I worked a full season on the Kansas City Chiefs grounds crew. After a short stay in professional sports turf management I then accepted the assistant superintendent position at Staley Farms Golf Club. While working in the golf course industry my brother Brock graduated from UMKC law school.
