Kathy is the principal designer and owner of Eklektik Interiors and brings a broad perspective and exclusiveness to her interior designs. Inspired by world travels, Kathy focuses on creating a personal design that is timeless. With extensive residential as well as commercial experience, Kathy has found that a vital key to truly successful interior design projects is communication.
She believes the design process should be an enjoyable one. By helping her clients better understand the process, the experience becomes less intimidating for them. Her ability to read her clients is a strength that helps her to create that 'signature' environment for each space. Kathy received a degree in Interior Design from Brigham Young University and is a licensed and registered interior designer.
Kathy is a member of the Advisory Board of Houston Community College Interior Design Department, a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association Custom Builders Council, a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer for the past eight years, actively involved with HomeAid Houston, a charity sponsored by the GHBA, and a regular presenter and contributor to building industry organizations and publications.

This place does the most amazing design work you've ever seen. Kathy has talent for the smallest of clients to the largest home. She can see things the natural eye can't see! Our project was a Hurricane Harvey recovery project and they made our house 100% better in the end. Johns recommendations were spot on every time and he regularly saved us from ourselves. Highly recommended and we will be using them again without question. First class experience.

Kathy Anderson and her staff are the best designer company in town! My house have been not only damaged by Harvey but also the initial contractor I have hired, Mr Geoff Williams, turned out to be a crook who took my money and did work that was worse than a work done by a child. Well, that's where Kathy and her team stepped in. Kathy is not only smart as a whip but she also has a heart of gold and is inspiring and optimistic. She is truly "eclectic" and knows what the individual client wants and will nail it every time. When we were picking out countertops in a Stone Gallery, she knew ahead of time

John Taylor was my main designer and he did an amazing job on my house. He helped me design the layout, elevations, do selections and furniture.
I had some difficulties with my builder and John was able to help me navigate the best way to handle the issues and then manage the solution to fix them. I am so happy with the outcome and everyone who walks in and sees my house has nothing but amazing things to say about how gorgeous the house looks.
My project lasted close to 2 years and John was a complete joy to work with and I would work with him again on other projects.

After our house flooded during Hurricane Harvey, I was completely overwhelmed by all the design and construction decisions required to put our house back together. I saw a posting for a free consultation at Eklektik Interiors. After an hour with John Taylor I hired him on the spot. I had never worked with a designer and my husband wasn’t thrilled about us spending what he believed to be “extra” money. But after our first design meeting I knew my husband was on board. John was amazing to work with. I truly believe he served as both a designer and marriage counselor through the whole process

I came in looking for just an area rug and the staff went above and beyond. They helped me pick out some new pillow shams with three or four different concepts and directions I could go and let me take the samples home to test them out. They were all so nice and accommodating, it's a great boutique shop with some really great talent. Loved all their accessories and design options! It's also in a great location if you're closer to downtown!
