As a furniture salesperson, Jake found his customers frustrated with their inability to purchase 'new' when they didn't have a way to get rid of the 'old'. From that frustration, along with Jake's frustration about losing sales, Get It Gone was born. Get It Gone was founded in 2004 with an idea, a pickup truck, a borrowed trailer, and 50 bucks to register our name with the state.
As the business grew, Jake left the sales world for the junk world! Forming strategic partnerships over the years has taken us from New England to SW Florida. Jake's dream is to make Get It Gone a household name in the areas that we service. With our phenomenal team, we are getting there, one satisfied customer at a time!

I had scheduled some friends to help me move- and it went south from there! I was exhausted, frustrated, and done! There was a really nice lady working across the hall in the storage facility who highly recommended these guys. I called them- 2 crews showed up and I was totally moved in inside of 3 hours. SO grateful for these people! Helpful, willing, well spoken, hard working and all of them really nice. Do yourself a favor and call these guys for all your moving needs. I felt like they saved me that day!

My phone call was answered right away by a human being. I sent pictures, received a quote, the job was scheduled for the next day. The guys arrived exactly on time. They worked like crazy, not wasting a moment. They were professional and courteous. Thanks to the entire operation for doing a job that would take someone adays, was done in 1 hour! I highly recommend Get It Gone for "clean out and removal" of anything!

I worked with Dan & Patti getting my Free Estimate on-line. Very easy to do and they were both very patient with all my questions. :)

My move consisted of moving some furniture to my new place and having some put in storage in two different locations. We decided to do this over a two day period. The movers were on time, friendly, professional and took pride in their preparations of wrapping, covering and removal of all furniture and set up in new home.
I would definitely recommend Get it Gone to anyone who is looking for a professional company that will handle all your needs.

Very pleased! Short move, but these guys were the BEST! Not only on time, but were dressed well and had good manners. They were not in a hurry and did everything just right. The move went exactly as planned and was done on time and on budget. I could not have asked for more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

When I called to arrange pick up of a mattress, box spring, frame and old TV, the receptionist was very nice and efficient! She said it all would be picked up and taken out to the curb for trash pick-up between 12-3pm and she gave me the price to do the job. But, 15 min. later I received a call from the workers that they were in my area close by and would I like them to come in about 10 minutes! Amazing service!!!! I needed help moving and installing a very fragile, one-of-a-kind shell mirror to a client of mine. Every step of the process was beyond impressive, from the first call with the office to set up my appointment until waving goodbye to the crew after delivery. I was contacted to confirm my appointment and then reminded as well. I received a text message when the crew arrived at the moving site and another to follow-up after the job was completed. My mirror was handled with great care, and Covid safety was followed. It was an all around pleasure to do business with Get It Gone

The administrative staff as well as the delivery people were very nice. They arrived on time, protected the items with moving blankets, and neatly loaded them from our old house on to the truck. They delivered the furniture to our new home the same day. They brought each item to its proper location and carefully unpacked it. They wore masks, and took off their shoes while in the house. Everything was delivered in perfect condition.

Get It Gone offers moving, delivery, hauling and disposal services in the Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton, and North Port areas in Florida. They have a long history of operating for many years in Bedford/Manchester area in New Hampshire as well. I got their name and number from the people at the storage company.
