Services
Our family owned and operated store has been blessed with a great success story from the day we opened 27 years ago. Our journey began with a $20,000 loan from Sharon's mother and a 4,000 square foot building, we now own the whole block and over 100,000 square feet of space. Every day we receive approximately 100 items for consignment, normally most everything sells within 2-3 weeks.
Come in and check out our inventory! We receive truck loads of furniture, jewelry and all kinds of wonderful items for consignment daily. So you're sure to find wonderful items among our 100,000 square foot store. We have a variety of fine art, furniture and jewelry to choose from and if you don't find what you're looking for just come back tomorrow as every day is a new day at The Estate Sale Company.
Our consignors continue to come to us year after year because we are priced fairly, sell quickly and pay promptly. We're proud of our reputation and our consignors, many of whom have dealt with us for over 26 years and have recommended us to their friends and family. We accept furniture, fine art and jewelry.

They have a huge selection of items to choose from that seriously come and go quickly! Some of it is good and some of it is junk so know what you want and make sure it's the real deal. Buyer beware (aware!) is a better word for it. There are several buildings and staff members in each area some are nicer than others but for the most part they are all helpful. Lots to see and it's always a fun shop as you never know what you will find!

The place is what it is. Used furniture. Some of the sales associates are more helpful than others. My problem is the person they had help me load my items into my car. The guy damaged my car in three areas loading two pieces of furniture into the back. To me that is terrible service. If your only job is to move furniture, that should include not damaging people's vehicles. Just tell me in advance that it's too heavy for you and I'll figure out another way. Would not return.

I have used this resale company since it was first opened over thirty years ago. The original owner was a gracious, very professional woman. She has now left the businesses to her daughters. The Palm Springs operator is rude, insulting, unreliable, short-tempered, and just nasty to do business with. The Rancho Mirage operation is a little better but chaotically operated. Too bad. If you're a buyer, I recommend any of the Revivals stores. They don't take consignments, but they run a class organization for a good cause and have great finds.

I put my name on an item 3 weeks ago for them to call me when it was priced. I followed up 10 days ago with a a phone call and was told the mirror was still there with my sticker/phone number on it, they were still waiting for price ok from consignor. Today I physically went in there and the mirror was gone.
When I inquired and showed both the owner and the person who runs Etc the photo of the mirror and the sticker THEY put on it 3 weeks prior with my name and phone number, all they could say was 'we don't know, it sold.' I was supposed to have first option once it was priced. Unethical

I dropped a designer table and chairs off to the Estate Sale Company January before the pandemic. The store was closed for awhile because business were not open. I called a couple months ago since stores have been opening up and the Owner , Candy, told me that the items hadn't sold yet. She didn't tell me to pick them up, so I decided to see if they would sell , since people were going out again.
I called today and I was told by Candy that the items were donated, within the two months that I called. So, they probably weren't there when I called a couple months ago.

I found two items I wanted to buy - a blue and white platter which had no price and the guy in the boutique building said it "hadn't been priced" and maybe it would be priced next week.. the other items were some beautiful pillows, also not priced and a very rude woman told me "if they're not priced they're not for sale". A waste of an hour shopping in this place. Tired and filthy outdoor furniture all in need of repair, mostly Home Goods type furniture for sale. Skip it!

The one star I'm giving is for one person. The older lady that works in the back desk. Candy,
We love this place and go here weekly (everyone else here is super nice) but we are frankly getting sick of her righteous and condescending attitude.
She needs to drop the snotty presence and actually try to be friendly. We are the ones coming in here spending our money. We DON'T need her to be our queen and treat us like pleebs
If she was actually royalty-I don't think she'd be a clerk (or even owner??) at an antique store. Stop belittling your customers.

My first issue was half the employees here didn't have their masks on OR had their noses hanging out. This is why Covid is out of control because of idiots like that. Anyways....Anyone that has gone to an actual Estate Sale knows you can truly find treasures at an amazing and affordable price. This place does NOT represent that. I came here today and the prices for stuff you can find at any other thrift store are like 40times higher here. They did have some furniture that was in good shape but guess what...you can get that same furniture at Biglots brand new for pennys more. It was a huge

Yesterday was my first visit to the Estate Sale Co. I was greeted when I first walked in by a gentleman named, Tor. Once he found out we were new to the store he explained things and told us if we had any questions to please let him know and he would be happy to help. ((GREAT Customer Service BTW))
We wondered around and found several items we liked and decided to purchase them. I asked about other areas of the store that had items I was interested in and Tor said I would need to speak to the person in that area as he could only assist with the building he was in. ((That's where things

**Updating my review: I received a response from the store/person I encountered, which I found to be genuine and meaningful. Much appreciated and willing to give this place another shot.
---
I'll spare anyone the prolonged details of my encounter and instead share the "cliff notes" version. The older woman seated behind the main desk/checkout is an absolute bummer of a person. Rude, unhelpful, and was clearly not interested in my business. After our interaction, I walked away confused as to what would elicit such treatment to a customer who did nothing more than politely ask a question

Such an incredible store
It has grown to include three or four buildings. People are sending merchandise from Las Vegas and Hollywood to be sold here it is so popular. Always has people walking through looking for bargains. Many high end items you cant find elsewhere at unbelievable prices. Huge furniture, great jewelry. Lots of artwork. Inventory changes daily. Such a fun place. Be sure to ask for Rex to help you, he is very knowledgeable and friendly and can help you find what you need
