Services
Key Insulation originated in 2000 as a test within a homebuilding program in San Antonio, Texas. Once the new product, cellulose, was installed, the test catapulted the builder into ENERGY STAR efficiency and the course for the company was set. Acquisition by its present owner resulted in expansion into foam and cavity fill fiberglass products, providing flexibility to meet the needs and budget of the client's projects.
Cellulose insulation is composed of 85% recycled newsprint and paper fibers with a Class 1 (highest) fire safety rating. Reduces air filtration, blocking the pollens and allergens allowed into the indoor environment of your home. Often used as a sound barrier in acoustical areas, Media Rooms, Game Rooms, Hotels & Offices.
Spray Foam insulation when properly installed, expands 140 times its initial volume, sealing all voids, gaps, and crevices. Spray Foam insulation is extremely effective due to the technology and onsite manufacturing of the product. Spray foam provides thermal performance and air sealing in one application step.
We partner with homebuilders, dissecting the technology needed to provide a cost effective and sustainable thermal envelope. Each builder and project has a unique set of hurdles and we offer alternate solutions to meet those needs cost effectively and energy efficiently. Our expertise and experience is unparalleled in the area.

Their truck just ran me off the road and the driver who looks like the man in the picture lifted his middle finger at me. I would not recommend. Rude!

I just met Josh Werner who took time to help me with my navigation on my truck. He works for this company and I had to take a moment and let them know about the quality employee in their force, Josh.
I am relocating to the San Antonio area from living in Louisiana for the last 19 years. My navigation messed up and I could not get a box out of view to continue my trip.
I pulled into the Market Lookout in Shertz, Tx where I found Josh. He is driving a newer Chevrolet, I took a chance that he may know these new tangled gadgets called navigation. My other truck is a 2000 Dodge with 86k miles.

Desperately needed insulation in my attic in preparation for summer in Texas. Key Insulation came out to give me an estimate of the work. Their prices were fair and Abraham was great in giving me an honest answer about the different products and never tried to up-sell me. I was able to schedule the install within a week. Install was quick, efficient, and now I am reaping the benefits of having proper attic insulation. Thank you!!!!!

Had a bad experience with my home builder. Called key insulation numerous times to give them an opportunity to possibly touch up any defects from their section. Even emailed them the third-party inspectors report showing the defects. Ignore my calls and refused to come out. What happens next is solely due to business practices.
Christians in name, not in practice.

A company that may have the greatest of intentions but falls short due to terrible organization, a lack of leadership, and little to no integrity. Jobs are not completed in a timely manner due to management that doesn't understand the ebb and flow of business. The true definition of a company that will promise the world to a new client so that they can get the account, and then accomplish the bare minimum to keep the client one step away from finding another vendor.
I'd look elsewhere for an insulation contractor in San Antonio or Austin
