I’ve been waiting on my solar panels for over a year. They’ve claimed to be waiting on nyseg for almost 6 months to complete the work to get the solar panels running. Over the course of the project I received conflicting information from different people at renovus. I wish they had been transparent about the whole process and that wait an extra 6 months was normal(!?) as I’ve heard this from multiple other customers. Also worth noting is they promise you that you’ll qualify of the entire federal and state solar tax credits, which is untrue for most people.

Renovus is the most professional, responsive, and transparent home improvement/contractor company we've ever worked with.
Renovus installed an 11 KwH solar PV system on our property in Skaneateles. We had installed a 6 KwH system at our previous home in 2002, so we had some experience. This one was tricky as it involved an array on a building with a separate meter, wifi connection to our main house, and coordination with National Grid to ensure credit for unused KwH. The Renovus team was thorough, walking us thru the entire process and handling all the bobbles that come up in these projects. The

Renovous was incredibly efficient and professional at every step of the installation. Building the frame took 2 days, trenching took 1.5 days and the wiring took 1.5 days. They handled all the hassle of the building permit, electrical inspections and dealing with Nyseg. I would rate their service as a 10 out of 10.

We love our new solar system. Everyone involved in the process from Renovus was experienced, helpful and informative. The installers did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Explanations were given for everything that was done and the walk-through at the end was helpful. We really enjoyed the experience and are enjoying our solar power. The only thing that we regret was not doing it sooner as things didn't get completely installed until just before daylight savings time ended - which meant less sun to store up our power! I'd suggest you get things started as soon as possible in the
