Lee & Cates Glass was founded in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida in 1926 by brothers-in-law Thomas D. Lee Sr. and Raymond H. Cates to service the burgeoning auto glass industry. Everything about my experience was top notch! From the friendly phone conversation to delivery everyone was helpful and pleasant. I had glass cut to protect my dining table; someone came out to measure and gave me an estimate for the service. When I was ready to purchase (a week later) the estimate was the same and it took a few days to get the glass delivered. Upon delivery we were given care instructions. It was a great experience. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I used Lee & Cates when I was a property manager years ago and their service was superb! Recently, I've gone to them TWICE and bought one glass door panel and because the customer service AND the quality of the insert was PERFECT.....I went back within 48 hours and bought ANOTHER glass door insert!!! LOVE the ladies and gentlemen customer service! They make you fee like "you matter"!!!!! I WILL be returning soon!!!!!!

After competitive bids, Lee and Cates had the lowest price for replacing the glass in two of my house windows. Their professionals arrived to take their own measurements, with one of the windows having an arch on the top. They took a little longer than expected to get the windows in, and I had to follow up/call to schedule the installation, but scheduling was straightforward after that. The team arrived on schedule and quickly removed and replaced the dual-pain glass, working from the inside in order to not disturb the stucco outside. No mess, and beautiful windows. They have a 10-year guarantee

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because their installer, Benji, saved the day. This is the second windshield I've had replaced through L&C. Benji did my Jeep first so when I needed my Civic replaced I asked for Benji again. Because he's good at what he does, professional, courteous, and has old school skills. But whoever made the schedule didn't send Benji. They sent some newbie that has been installing for only 9 months to work on a 1995 Civic. He broke the cowl, tore off a gasket between the windshield and engine bay, and trashed the clips without seeing where they are supposed to
