BEWARE!!! Do your own research on the court documents open for My Neighborhood Handyman and it’s owner Kent Axtel. There are several open lawsuits and several he has lost. The work he completed on my house has ALL had to be redone. I had priceless antique family heirloom guns stolen from my house the same time Kent and his team of illegals (we later found out) were working in our house. The person that did it would have to go into our master bedroom and dig through our closet. They were not easy to find. He was also no help in tracking any of his staff down (he didn’t have much of their information

Do not use this company. We hired them to hang ceiling fans, a chandelier, and pendant lights. They dropped and broke one of our fans, which they have not payed us back for. There are scratches on the ceilings around all of our fans. They dropped our pendant light. They didn't even hang all the fans because they claimed their ladder got stolen. The fans that were hung up were not wired correctly. It has just been a huge mess. They left saying they would come back to complete the work, and they have not answered our calls or returned. Now I have to pay another company to fix everything that they

BEWARE: SCAM ARTIST. Hired "Kent" off a flyer he left on our door to do some light remodeling. After paying him 50% deposit, he had two subcontractors show up 2 times in 3 months doing very little work. He would not show when he was scheduled and would dodge us with one lame excuse after another. When we asked for our money back - crickets. I have filed a complaints with the BBB, AZ Attorney General, ROC, Neighborhood App. If he approaches you stay far away before he scams you out of your money as well.

I hired Kent Axtell for a quote for few different repairs, plus I had a roof leak in July of 2018. He rushed over to my house to show up prior to a roofer so he could get the job. I got an estimate to repair a leak, some other miscellaneous repairs, and then coating the roof over my covered patio. Total amount was $790. He took more than 50% up front with a promise to do all the work in two-three days. I had to call and text him to get a response two days later since I never heard from him. He sent subcontractors to do the roof coating the following week (five-six days later than what he originally
