We bought a grey hexagon tile from Surface Art. In the display room they showed the grey tile. We were never told that the tile has a wide variation of colors. When the tile came in, it turns out some are almost green and purple hues. Not at all the tile shown in the show room. We are extremely disappoint and the company takes no ownership of this error. Buyers beware.

I have been using Surface Art tile for a while. As a modern designer I appreciate their modern tile selections as well as price and availability. Really good product and we quite like our customer service rep, Jody. My only critique is that I hate going to the showroom/will call because the front desk person (long blonde/hair-youngish) is the absolute opposite of who a company should have as their first introduction into a business. She seems depressed, angry and very unhappy. It's unpleasant to go in and I've started sending my customers who would like to see product in a showroom to Statements

I have been in business for over 45 years and I have NEVER had a distributor handle there business in such a non personal manner. Immediately upon entering the showroom the gal behind the desk made no eye contact, treated me like I was an inconvenience. I simply asked to see the tile that my customer had chosen before I was to pick it up. After NO communication whatsoever she finally led me to the tile on the racks. Still zero words from her mouth. Then she handed me the pick ticket and said go out there stay behind the gate. After waiting for 15 minutes the forklift driver dropped a pallet with

If you are an installer just refuse your clients to get tile from this company. 10 years I had to deal with this people. They are always rude and unhelpful. The will call always treat us like garbage because we are installers. They only work with discount show rooms that are as useless as them. And if you need extra pieces or something comes wrong get ready to beg. By far the worst tile company in the area.

The tile and products from this place are great I can't complain about that. Also the sales rep is a wonderful person to work with. However I was just in this morning to pick up a display tower and the spanish guy who loaded the pallet on the truck hit the tail light with the pallet and broke it and on top of that he got all rude about it and started to make comments saying it wasn't the end of the word and he didn't care Because he is the general manager and he has 20 years of experience loading trucks and that wasn't a big problem. He said "just fixed it and bring me the invoice" but when i asked

Surface Art has a diverse line of products at competitive pricing. Their displays have definitely earned their prominent position in our Art Tile Co. showroom. Over the years they have also been one of our best vendors at understanding the clear and strong differentiation needed between a wholesaler and a retail dealer, keeping our relationship strong.

My boyfriend and I had a massive leak in our master bathroom that has put us out of commission for a while, and we're now on the hunt for tile. The problem is, we want something new, but it has to flow with what's in our other bathrooms. One of us is great at envisioning things, and the other isn't. We both have very distinct tastes and preferences. Basically, we have no agreement on what the hell we want, and going into a store that has 500 tile samples is about the last thing we want to do. BUT. Enter Courtney. She targeted a few things that we each like/dislike, and then brought

As a new employee of Surface Art, and having been in the industry for over 20 years, I can assure that there is NO other company that takes service, quality and trends more seriously. Surface Art is a family and veteran owned business that inventories over 6,000,000 square feet of tile in their Tukwilla facility and their service goes above and beyond. Is every company perfect no...however they always strive to fix any situation that presents itself. They donate to Habitat for Humanity, throw employee parties with their families, and have some the longest tenure in the industry. Speak with their customers that buy from their everyday to get the truth.

As a designer, Surface Art Tile is the first place I go to when creating my designs. The boards are detailed and explain everything you need to know about a particular tile. I especially appreciate the tile variation is quantified with a number from 1- 5. Generally most tiles have matching mosaics for pan tile and also Bullnose, making it easy to complete a design. I have always found the quality of the tiles and the customer service to be above and beyond.

Very disappointing - low quality tile. What they show online is nothing like what we ended up getting. Rather than a marble look, they look like a low quality printer smudge. The sample tiles show dark veins in a variety of patterns. Instead you'll get a box of mostly blank or white tile, with multiple tiles in exactly the same pattern in each box. No variation, nothing like the sample board or online images... see for yourself. "Venetian classics" is what they claim online, which is misleading since they claim to have tile from Italy. This is just a repackaged cheap tile of very low quality and

Surface Art is an on-trend, cutting edge leader in the tile industry! I'm impressed with their plethora of tile - anything from modern to a more traditional, sophisticated marble look. The wood looks would fool anyone! And the people are phenomenal. Everyone in customer service is a gem, especially Jenn, Jaime, and April - I always know I'm in good hands. The whole experience is so positive, you can be assured you'll find beautiful tile to complement any home with no stress!

This company puts profits over people and it shows in quality. The customer service is terrible and the management is even worse. You will always have either broken product or missed pulled items and they will scream at the employee in front of you! No professionalism and I'm so disappointed that GreatFloors and Tile for less does business with these people.

We ordered ledger stone for our fireplace wall. We loved the colors and ordered corner pieces as well as flat face pieces. When we received the product, the corner pieces are pre-assembled, and have a metal piece that hold the 90 degree shape in place. However, the metal pieces are crookedly glued on and the corners do not sit on the corners well. They are all off, and some rock on a perfectly square corner. After emailing and sending them photos of the poor manufacturing, all they say is to contact the company I used to purchase their product, and they cannot help. I am apalled after spending

Poor customer service and inconsistent product.
1) I received two different dye lots of white - one a pure white, one an obvious yellow white. Installer had to pull tile off the wall and redo the design ad hoc to make the client satisfied. Our job was delayed and our timeline is gone. When we called to resolve the different tile colors, Surface Art admitted that tile was pulled from old supply and a new shipment, and then they ignored communication?
2) I had to pick up a final bucket of grout. Drove an hour to Surface Art to be turned away as "they were closed for inventory and emailed

Don't bother to order tile from Surface Art as the manufacturer/supplier, you'll wait and wait and wait for it. Apparently they don't have anything pre-produced, and they just collect orders to send to China, then once they reach the volume they need, they'll produce it. My order has been delayed time and again. They have no clue about how to serve customers.
