About a year ago one of the coil springs on our garage door broke while I was out of town. This created an emergency for my wife who needed to pick up our daughter from school and could not get out of the garage. If you've been around the block a few times, you know how such an "emergency" service call goes -- you are paying a minimum of $350 and you're lucky if they don't convince your wife that the whole garage door needs replaced. In our case with Hudson Overhead Door however, the owner himself came over immediately and replaced both springs for less than we paid for parts alone the previous
