My home was built in 2003 and the builder installed blown insulation. From the beginning our upstairs was a challenge to keep cool and our top floor AC system had to run continuously on hot days. I augmented the blown insulation by installing rolls of batt insulation myself over the top of the blown insulation. The batt insulation on top of the blown insulation was little to no help. For 18 years my upstairs HVAC system

I ended up going with a different contractor (I chose to work with the company that provided my Home Energy Audit) but have to give a shoutout to Arbor : their initial inspection was thorough and extremely informative. The specialist who came out took his time and answered all of my questions. No sale pressure at any point. The quote was reasonable, and I will reach out to them in the future for other work.

I was SUPER pleased with the work that Arbor did on my home. Mathew Medlin was extremely responsive to my requests and went above and beyond to figure out an insulation solution that minimized damage to my drywall and maximized the effectiveness of insulating a second story attic addition. Mathew was professional and communicative every step of the way and I'm very happy with the quality, appearance and effect the job has had on the temperature in my home. Today we had insulation work performed by Arbor Insulation Solutions. From the evaluation and quote provided by Jason, to the scheduling provided by Julie to the installation provided by Sam, this family business excelled. We contracted for three things: additional insulation in the attic; a sealing cap on our pull down stairs to the attic; insulation on a wall between an un-heated attic and a bedroom. They arrived early, as requested, on the agreed day. Sam and his team-mate Tom, put in a full day's work and finished in one day. They were courteous, clean and professional in the entire process

The installers ran hoses through my bedroom widow that destroyed my window ledge. Also tracked some sort of black glue all over my floor. When I was given the initial estimate the salesman told me it includes repairs to the damaged gable walls in my attic, those repairs were not done. As for the work that was done, the 360 air tight did not seem to make that much of a difference. I was told it would decrease the drafts in my house by 20%, the door blower test they ran only showed an improvement of 9%. The insulation they blew in looks fine, but my house feels a lot hotter now and I am running my

Arbor Insulation has been excellent in making recommendations and insulating my home in the manner that optimizes efficiency and cost-effectiveness. We just had a final visit to apply thermal barrier over spray foam they had installed last year. Scott got his crew out to our home quickly on Jan 2 and did the job for the per sq ft cost quoted when the rest of the job was done.
