Our team has more than 29 years of experience in the electrical service industry. Over the years we have observed many changes in technology in the lighting industry, both in Chicago and across the Midwest Epic Lighting Solutions has been established to meet those changes and to help our customers to become more efficient.
LED, or light-emitting diode, lighting is one of the most efficient forms of lighting on the market today for the industries of Chicago and the Midwest. They produce more light per watt than traditional incandescent or HID lighting and last much, much longer. Instead of using fragile filaments, LED lights have two semiconductors, one positive and one negative.
Using Induction lighting products is an excellent way to achieve energy efficiency. They produce more light output per watt than traditional bulbs, they have a life span of 100,000 hours and require less energy to operate than incandescent, metal-halide, and other HID lights. Another great feature of our induction lighting systems is that they require little to no maintenance and are covered by our 5 year warranty.
Induction and solid state (LED) lighting is leaps and bounds ahead of its competition in terms of high efficiency. Not only do LED lights last a minimum of 12.5 times longer than traditional filament light bulbs, most of our LED's last 25 times longer (about 5 years), they are also very energy efficient.
