M&M Pools was established in 2006 by owners John "J.P" Morgan and Mike Maloney, two long-time friends since elementary school. Having previously worked in the swimming pool industry in high school and throughout college they began their own pool maintenance company after they earned their bachelors degrees in business administration.

Services
A traditional Hamptons style pool-spa combo with ample patio space for sunbathing. The 20' x 58' gunite pool has an inviting 8' x 20' sundeck with wedding cake steps that flows into an 8' x 8' spill over spa. The medium gray plaster interior compliments the Bluestone patio that surrounds the pool. The 8' x 8' Spa spills over into the sundeck.
An 18' x 44' gunite pool is flanked with a grandiose 7' x 18' spa. The sleek NPT Quartzscape Curacao Night finish gives this pool a feel of opulence throughout the day. A tranquil vibe emits from this darker shade giving your backyard the feel of the interior of a luxury sedan. During the strongest sunlight this interior looks like a blue lagoon.
One of our more complex projects was completed in a quiet neighborhood nearby the shores of Shinnecock Bay. This 20' x 50' Gunite pool is finished with an NPT Touch of Glass interior. The sundeck with Pentair Bubblers sits adjacent to a 7' x 10' spa allowing for easy access into and out of the pool.
Located off the shores of beautiful Tiana Bay in Hampton Bays this 18' x 36' Gunite pool is elegantly designed with Roman ends on each side. The interior of the gunite pool is a medium gray plaster finish. The wedding cake entry steps conversely compliment the shape of the Roman end. The 6' x 10' spa is fully operated by Pentair automation.
Come relax after a long day in this 8' x 8' Spa, fully automated by Pentair which will allow you to it heat up on your drive out east from the city or when you are stuck in the 27 East traffic. This outdoor patio is done in Marmiro Stone Afyon Cloud. The patio is the gateway entrance to the backyard, inviting you to the centerpiece of your oasis.

I hired M and M pools in Hampton Bays Long Island to replace my pool liner and less than a year later it’s already coming apart. They never return my calls , I never was able to talk to the owner during the entire project. They don’t return email. WORST communication EVER. STAY AWAY

We are new out east (this is our second summer) and we've had reliable service from M & M Pools since day 1. They are in fact the company that built our beautiful pool (before we purchased the house).
The owner took the time to help me troubleshoot when the developer left out a key step in building out the propane connection to power the pool heater.
I'm type A and like to know when we can have the pool opened / closed / ready for swimming and Gina is always incredibly responsive and accommodating.
As for weekly maintenance, it happens smoothly and without issue. I love that

This company was hired by our new home contractor (Paramount Custom Homes), presumably because they were the low bidder for a gunite pool installation. Well, we got what we paid for....
We waited 2 yrs for them to complete the installation of our pool/spa control which never happened. We hired another company to correct some of the faulty installation and found that the pool auto fill line was kinked so not working and the spa control wire was interior speaker wire run underground so it rotted out and has to be re-run from the house to the pool panel.

Communication is dismal. The company will not call back unless you call multiple times and email as well. Sometimes no call back happens at all.
The company does not specify which day they will service your pool even if you ask specifically to be notified of a day someone will be accessing your property. Oftentimes they would come whenever they please, sometimes after 6pm for servicing, which is inconvenient and inconsiderate.

We used M&M looks last summer when we bought out house in Hampton Bays. We closed in April just post the beginning of Covid. JP promised our pool would be built and it was swim ready by first week in August. His craftsmanship is second to none and the pool exceeded expectations. We also use him for the weekly maintenance and his men are courteous and very professional. I highly recommend this company to all looking for building and maintenance of pools.

They built a lovely pool but everything from there was downhill. It's our first pool and after opening no one came over and told us how to run or manage, what to expect and what to do if we had issues. Our automatic water fill system was never set up. The billing was erratic, not on time and full of mistakes. It's September and I just got a bill for April for example. We have a lovely salt water pool and every week of the summer our red light indicating low salt flashed. We never once achieved the right salt level and were given excuses such a high humidity was impacting salt delivery

The worst company. Did not call back after speaking to secretary twice AND leaving a message. Totally unprofessional. All the positive reviews must be fake because they have nothing to do with how this company actually operates. They could be total scammers also. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are awful! I feel sick thinking about them. Its been a week and a half and still no response. I wouldn't want to touch them with a ten foot pole. I feel sick thinking about them. Hire them if you want to be ill. Stay away! You've been warned.

M & M installed our beautiful pool this summer - it is absolutely stunning. While being very busy, they are very responsive and do not overcharge for their services. Any issues we had with materials, etc. were handled promptly and to our satisfaction, and the sub-contractors they brought in (like for masonry and pool cover) were very professional and at the top of their game.

JP and Mike at M&M Pools are the best pool guys in the Hamptons bar none. Very responsive, great workers on their team, always make sure that the job is done right. We bought a new house last July and the pool was a disaster. Got a recommendation to use M&M and couldn't believe it when JP advised against getting a new liner - told us he'd nurse it through the season and he did! And they discounted service all year.
