For the past 30 years, Ron Urban has led an impressive career in general and electrical contracting. In 1982, he founded Tecron Electrical Contractors and Engineers, this became the parent company of Electrical Concepts and Construction. Each of Rons firms provided complete design and build planning and general contracting administration for commercial and industrial projects throughout New Jersey.
I realize it has been a number of years since the solar project has been completed at our facility. Thought it was long overdue that I express my appreciation for all you and your company has done for us. As one who was totally unfamiliar with the clean energy aspect of utilizing solar power as a viable and "business smart" substitute for conventional electricity it has been a very fruitful journey since first encountering you over 5 years ago.

So, being that Ron has been ignoring my emails, I have no choice other than to write this. Keeping it relatively short my experience started out great then went down the toilet. I contracted a 60k+ system with Barry who is their salesman. All went smoothly except for the fact that Barry told me the price was "all inclusive" until contract time where there is a clause for permits fees to be paid by me. I raised this fact and after a back and forth, unnecessarily, they agreed to pay as Barry was new and made a mistake. Contract signed. Installation was perfect although design and placement did not

I had my solar system and new roof installed by Ron and his crew at Advanced Solar & Energy Solutions last August (2018). By all definitions it was a small project, but they all treated the project as though it were their top priority. They had everything, including the roof, installed in a very short amount of time.
I want to give them another shout out for their customer service. Jessica and Ron have been very supportive in troubleshooting the minor issues I had with my system (manufacturer defect) and have made me and my wife a very happy customers. We would recommend their services to anyone

Even though we were looking to buy the system and not lease it, most of the companies were pushing the lease option which benefitted them more than us. After sending us quotes/contract for new roof and solar 3 times for a %100 removal of our electric bill. we decided to move forward only to have them tell us the system quoted will not cover our electric usage and will cost us significantly more. Blaming it on employees who no longer work for them. Still very bad business practice. It will be hard to accept them as a "good business". I will have to look elsewhere in the future.

I would like share my unpleasant experience when I first started searching solar as I received numerous calls from several solar companies and they literally harassed me daily. My very dear friend who was in the market to get solar ended up signing a lease with one of the largest solar companies in the country. Much to her surprise this is where her nightmare began. It took almost a year to get installed and it wasn't turned on for several months and she now has roof leak which the solar company refuses to fix. In fact, they did not fully DISCLOSURE the benefits of solar. I started to get discouraged

I was in the market for Solar energy and had contacted several companies. Some of these companies were the bigger ones with hundreds of installations within the tri county area. By chance through the internet I ran across a company call Advanced Solar. I contacted them and set up a meeting. The president of the company Ron Urban came to my house shortly there after and sat down with me.
