If your trees require removal we can explain why and remove them safely and efficiently.
Often our job takes us into back yards, over houses, near infrastructure or around prized landscapes. Trees that grow in close proximity to these features arent always small or trivial to remove. When this is the case they require professional expertise, intricate rigging and the proper equipment to manage the wood and branches as the tree is sectioned down.

This Winter we were fortunate to spend a week on Quilcene Bay improving a residential stand. The morning view of Mt. Constance looming behind the bay stands out as a seasonal highlight. Conor spent a day with the landowners walking through the trees and setting goals to improve the health and aesthetic value of the stand.
This is an example of continued education. In the foreground you can see insurments called Resistographs. These insurments are used to test trees for decay. I had Sitkum crew work on my property this summer. They did an outstanding job clearing a number of dead trees, providing good advice, working with a neighbor to bring down a dangerous tree and getting the property in shape after many years of delays from the previous owner. The work was fast and done with great care. The back of the property now looks like a park and my guests always comment on how great the place looks. Even the mail person notices how much better the property looks. I highly recommend their services.

We were pleasantly surprised at the detailed instruction we received to maintain our trees along with the major work that was done to clean and shape up the larger trees we have in our yard. Once they were done the cleanup was amazing. It's like they were never here but all the trees they worked on looked fabulous. Thanks for the great job. We hired Sitkum Tree Service for a large and difficult project on our property. The task included the removal of over 60 trees, many of which were quite large and uncomfortably close to our home. While it was a nail-biter for us to watch, every tree came down exactly where they intended. More difficult trees were climbed and taken down in sections. Had a tree in a precarious position just above our bulkhead at Adelma Beach. Got the county permit for removal in a shoreline. Called Sitkum and he was on-site and cut the tree down the next day. It was quite clear that he was very skilled at his job and, working alone, he completed the task at a very fair price. Another tree service had been contacted but never returned calls after an initial visit and agreement.

Sitkum Tree Service is awesome. From our first phone call to the office, to Conor's visit for a proposal, to the removal crew working for 2-1/2 days -- this whole team is impressive. Sitkum removed about 33 dead and dying alders along our property line, taking care to avoid damage to the neighbor's healthy cedar trees across the fence. The crew was a pleasure to have on our property (and didn't seem to mind us watching from our camp chairs.) After hearing that Sitkum is one of the best around for complex tree work and view restoration, we met with the owner, Conor Haggerty. From the first meeting, Conor was engaged and enthusiastic about our project. He made several site visits, walking the area with us, then prepared a detailed plan to enact our vision. Sitkum Tree Service is amazing. They are super professional, experienced, organized, and efficient. They pruned huge firs, skillfully removed several large diseased trees within inches of our house, and sculpted some very natural looking habitat trees. We had a HUGE tree project, over 50 trees to cut. Some near power lines, some on steep slopes, some near my husbands workshop, some leaning, some damaged. Basically every situation you might need to call tree people for. We aimed to get 3 estimates, got two (one guy was just too small an operation for this job) and went with Sitkum. Conor came out… to go over the work with my husband, then came back with his FULL crew to review again before estimating. They were all super professional down to their matching shirts. EXCELLENT arborists! Conor Haggerty’s knowledgable & hardworking crew removed large storm damaged trees in our yard with surgical precision, not damaging any surrounding plants. All it took was one hell of a wind storm to turn my yard into Baghdad. With all of the debris that was strung across my yard (trees/limbs/small animals) I wasn't looking forward to the cleanup.
