Services
Area Glass and Mirror Co. was founded in 1977 in Antioch, Illinois. It has been family owned and operated for two generations, and we hope to keep it going with the third! We take tremendous pride in our work and are involved in every step of the process. We live in Antioch, have raised our families here, and strive to serve the community as much as we can by supporting other local businesses.
We build new screen inserts for all applications. Anything from new patio door sliders to a custom screen porch, we can help out. We also can re-screen your current frames with a variety of different weave options and colors. We work with all types of flat glass and mirrrors. We can custom cut most types of glass including patterned glass, laminated glass, and general glass for things like cabinet doors and picture frames.

We love this store. They have helped us with three custom glass orders this summer and I will never go anywhere else. The gal in the office could not be any more helpful, she is a gem! The glass we ordered has been perfect each time and the prices can't be beat.

This company and staff are clearly the BEST! Thank you Jeff and Chase. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are extremely busy, taking care of schools, etc. However, they found time for our gazebo screening project. They are dependable, conscientious and fair priced. Their work is amazing and the results are simply beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Made a dresser top with clipped corners off of a sketch I scribbled out. Pricing was not the lowest but between the fast response and the fact that they take credit cards I decided to try them out. From my first email to pick up, was all done in less than a week! The clipped corner edge had a little angle but it still protects the dresser top just the same. The top fit perfectly and was done exactly to the sketch. They even put it in the back seat of my car for me. I'd definitely come back if I happen to break glass.

Amazing service. Was welcomed with a warm smile. Didn’t fully know what I was doing but Chase was super helpful and explained everything. He took my info to do the job and call me when it’s done but then told me he could actually get it done right then if I didn’t mind waiting he could get it done for me. Great price as well.

I had three windows broken from a hail storm a couple months ago, two smaller windows, but one large, 5x5 feet. The gentlemen came in, took their shoes off, were very friendly to my dogs and installed them perfectly in less than an hour. I'm so pleased to be able to see out my picture window again! Very professional, highly recommended.

I took 2 double glazed windows for repair. Instead what they do is measure and fabricate new ones. I went with that arrangement. They got it done in 4 days which was quick for me. Real nice quality factory duplicates which fit perfectly in the original space. I placed the window myself, since I am kind of handy. Was very pleased with the repair. I would take more windows to them as they were very professional.
