Porter's Office Products
Porter's Office Products was founded in 1915 by Arthur Porter. Within this variety store location on College Ave in Rexburg, he also started a printing business and purchased interest in the local newspaper. Arthur had three children that wanted to come back and work in the family business. To one son he sold the printing business which is now known as Artco, and to another he sold the local newspaper which is The Standard Journal.

The variety business was purchased by Warren Porter, now known as Porter's Craft & Frame. The variety store quickly grew and Warren purchased franchise rights for a Ben Franklin variety store. In the mid 1970's, the need for commercial office supplies was growing and in demand. Warren began catering to this market along with the variety store and began delivering and selling office supplies to businesses in the region.

Not really a bad experience, but not great either. Kind of awkward overall.

Leaving the original review, I ended up needing to cancel my order. I called the service line and they got the rep from the Rexburg store to respond to me and we got everything done over the phone. When I got there late in the day (maybe five minutes before close) I was able to walk and out and be done within a few minutes. Major props to them for making it ezpz.

I really try to shop local!! Porters always tries to help me find everything I need. They have a great selection in office supplies. I always go here to find decorative paper for my computer printed paper. Sometimes the customer service is lacking, but depends on who serves you. I love the small town feel and they appreciate everyone's patronage.

The products at Porters have been very reliable for me and I have found that there are things being sold there that I had never heard of, like erasable pens! They are my favorite things. Plus the people that work there are very helpful and nice. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience with Porters.

I have been ordering from Porters Office Products for at least 10 years. They always have the products that I need and have free delivery in 1 to 2 days, with a bonus yummy blue cow candy treat inside the box. I have never had a problem returning or exchanging a product, and appreciate receiving occasional cards for $15 to $25 dollars off. I like to support our local economy and appreciate a local company that gives me such excellent customer service.
