Bill, Dale Forbess went from installing to managing many stores in Galion, Marion, Bucyrus, Delaware and Findlay, Ohio. In 1954 Dale started Forbess Floor Covering in Perrysburg, Ohio.
He went back to installing in 1982 to teach his son Dewey the foundation of the floor covering business. In 1989 Dewey along with a partner started Commercial Carpet and Tile in Fostoria, Ohio. Dale continued as a sales person with Commercial Carpet and Tile for a few years until retiring.
