Bud and Ralph's Appliance Service was established in 1986 when Bud Olson and Ralph Tack purchased the appliance and service department from Goodman's Furniture and Appliance. The business started with two service vans operating while Bud and Ralph repaired appliances in the shop.
We've grown to employ 14 full and part-time employees; operating four vans and twice as many techs in the shop. We continue to service the Grand Forks area as well as surrounding areas. Bud & Ralph's has been awarded the Grand Forks Herald's "People's Choice for Best Appliance Repair" multiple times.

I bought a dryer here for $230 & it doesn’t dry clothes! It has a 2 month “warranty” BUT they expect me to bring it in for them to repair it. That’s ridiculous! They sold me a broken dryer they should COME TO MY HOUSE & fix it! I’m not lugging it up my basement stairs and transporting it 30 miles! I will NEVER buy from this place again.

Not helpful at all. We have a residential fridge in our RV that was not keeping cold. They would not come and service it. They said we would have to bring it to them. Really? How was I going to do that. We were only visiting the area. They referred us to a refrigeration place that wasn't doing residential appliances. Nothing else in Grand Forks. Someone needs to start another appliance repair business in Grand Forks that actually comes to the customer.

Over priced and lying. I brought a dryer into get cleaned and looked over. I was charged 75 bucks. Told me they found a bad wire and replaced it, other than that it was good to go. Got it home within the week it started Squeaking .brought the dryer back to have it fixed, they called me and said it would cost $300 to replace the Bearings or they could Grease them for me but they would start Squeaking again. I ASKED them to Grease the bad bearing and I would pick up. When I picked up the dryer they had charged me for cleaning it again. They did refund me the charge for the second cleaning, but when
