Our private road had potholes and was in bad condition. Smith Paving was hired to resurface our road with “tar & chip”. We were told this would be a better solution than having to repave every few years and would last longer. However after the work was done - the “tar & chip” only lasted a few months and our road is in worse condition than it was before. Mr. Smith has been contacted multiple times by the residents on our road and won’t come back and fix it.

Called on October 28th and asked for an estimate. Called three tines after that with no response. On Sept the 18th he showed up without calling and gave me a price. I had explained to him it was an insurance job and I needed a written estimate. He said he did not have anything to write on but would email it to me the next day. After that I called,text and emailed no less than twenty times with no response. On April the 19th I saw his company truck at a business near me and stoped to asked if I could get the estimate. He told me he was a busy man and I should find someone else to do the estimate

Reply on Brian Simpson's post From Smith asphalt paving. This gentleman stopped by my job site in the middle of my job. He was very demanding and all he wanted was an estimate so he could get an insurance check. He did not want me to do his job and for saying I did not showing up to his house on time and given him his estimate, all he was looking for was an estimate to make an insurance claim to get a check. My job is to do asphalt not supply him with an estimate.
