After 50 years married we decided to build a new home. We decided to look around South Carolina. After looking around the area that we liked we saw this new development and decided to check this place out. We were met by Lynn of Chesapeake Homes. After talking to Lynn who was very knowledgeable about this neighborhood and the homes being built. After talking to Lynn and showing us all the different designed homes being built there. This builder is the worst you can ever imagine. They didn’t finish on time, and kept on postponing. In addition, the poor quality is demonstrated all over the house. The very first day we moved in the new construction, the cabinets door fell off due to the poor installation of the hinges. In addition, they forgot to caulk the outside door that as soon as it rains, we had water puddles in our kitchen floor. They never follow up on repairs that is urgent. Their workers dented granite countertops and Never admit and intentionally cover it up during final walkthrough.

Chesapeake Homes built our new house in Moyock. The entire experience, from sales to design to building and walk-throughs to closing was professional, well-orchestrated, and smooth. Although every home owner is covered under a warranty and told how to submit a claim, we haven't needed to submit anything. It has been 13 months since we closed and the structure and mechanicals are in as good a shape as the day we moved in. We had several options in the area when it came to builders, including 2 others in our neighborhood alone. Yet my wife and I have commented many times on how glad we were to have

Mr. Ryan Hampton was the catalyst behind all facets of my new home construction build in the Moyock, NC neighborhood - The Gables. From day one and as the first homeowner to contract, Ryan provided us nothing short of exceptional customer service and keen insight on all home options and administrative processes. Building a home can be very stressful; however, during the build process he calmed us on many occasions and assured us everything would be fine. The entire team at 5401 North Chesapeake have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Me and my wife chose to get our house built by Chesapeake homes because they offer many options to personalize your home the way you want. They also have a great staff that will help you out with anything you need. Ingrid was especially helpful. She made sure our home was exactly what we wanted and she made sure it got built in a timely manner. She also sent us updated pictures every week while our home was being built.
