Services
In the early years, semi-tractor trailers were delivering garage doors to the garage behind my house. As a garage door distributor and installer, I created AE Door & Window in May of 1980 and named my small family business after my daughters, Amy & Erin. In September of 1980, AE Door & Window was incorporated and we moved to our first warehouse.
AE Door & Window is a major supplier of Clopay Garage Doors, Chamberlain Liftmaster Garage Door Openers, ProVia Entry and Storm Doors, and other fine products in the greater Cincinnati area. Not only is AE a major retail distributor and installer, but they also dominate in the new construction and commercial fields as well.
When you're looking for new additions to your home, seeing them in person makes a big difference. When you visit home improvement stores, they have all kinds of samples - things like toilets, faucets, tiles and light fixtures. A picture in a catalog just doesn't do things like this justice. When you're looking for fixtures that are bigger, like a garage door, you still want to see them before you buy.

The technician arrived on time, after kindly calling when he was en route.
He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently and got us up and running again. He even voluntarily discounted the cost of the service call because the work was uncomplicated.

We use AE Door and Windows for our windows a few years ago and we’re so happy with the process and product we went back for our front door. I’m not wonderful at making choices, but the rep helped to make the process easy and not even close to overwhelming. They communicated through the entire process and their installers were so kind, personable and detail oriented. I couldn’t be happier with our front door and our experience with AE.

I called to have our existing door opener serviced. AE scheduled us within a day. The service tech called prior to arrival and was very friendly and polite. He went above and beyond to be sure our opener was operating well before he left, even checking and repairing things we hadn't thought of like the seal at the bottom of the door and replacing the mounting bracket for the opener.
We will definitely use AE next time we need door or opener service or replacement.

Very satisfied. Ron Greenfield showed us exactly what we wanted. He came out and did all the measurements and showed us exactly what we were getting. Honest in all the time estimates. Tom our installer was also a true gentleman and did a very precise job with the removal and installation. We couldn't be happier with the company, the service, the selection or the outcome.
