We paid for a wooden split rail fence.
Materials were poor at best.
Posts were not treated with creosote or cemented in.
I have had to replace 4 out of ten posts due to rot after only 6 years.
When asked why the bottom of the posts were not treated with creosote or similar water proofing I was told it was too expensive to apply. Whaaaat????
