I'm often asked how J & M got started. That history goes WAY back! It all started when I was about 8 years old and I asked my parents if I could paint my bedroom. After that, I changed the paint color in my room every few months. Around that same time I took a great interest in wallpapering as well.
Back in the 1970's, wallpaper was not the same quality as it is now. It was much thinner and required replacement every few years. Inevitibly, the day that our handyman was due to install the wallpaper, I would always come down with some sort of "illness" that required me to stay home from school. I spent those days following our handyman around the house and asking question after question about why he did things the way he did.
