Bruce Matson Company, Inc. was established in Honolulu in 1975 as a millwork installation contractor by our founder and company namesake Bruce Matson. Since being established we have completed many resort hotel, high rise condominium and commercial projects throughout the state of Hawaii, Washington and Oregon.
In 1999 we expanded operations to the Pacific Northwest concentrating in the Seattle area. Completing projects such as the Grand Hyatt Seattle, Century Link Field, and 2200 Westlake. Our experience ranges from luxury resort hotels, such as the Grand Wailea Resort & Spa and condominiums to classroom additions and renovations of hotels.
We have the capacity and manpower to complete any project large or small within our client's schedule and budget. In 2010 we purchased our Seattle cabinet and door facility and have expanded our capabilities into manufacturing custom casework, doors and millwork. Our new plant is 70,000 square feet.

Services
Wood backing and rough bucks for all the work we install. We can also furnish and install wood backing for other trades work. Wood decking in commercial applications. We have completed decks from 3,000 square feet to over 10,000 square feet. All standing and running trim, baseboards, chair rails and crown molding.
Standard and custom hollow metal frames. We coordinate the complete opening including all hardware and weather, fire and code requirements to ensure your openings work whatever the opening. We offer doors and frames from Door Components and can purchase through our partners virtually any manufacturers doors and frames.
For commercial and educational projects chalkboards, whiteboards and tackboards are a critical items. We now furnish and install Claridge products. New projects go beyond normal static display boards and encompass vertical and horizontal sliding boards and interactive boards. We are able to provide complete single source responsibility for this work.
Our custom - production cabinet manufacturing can build virtually any cabinet for any project. We turn your specifications into custom cabinets. We are not constrained by any catalog, any specific sizes, any styles or colors. We utilize the latest equipment and software combined with talented people to produce high quality custom cabinets based on your specifications.
