Jim helped us furnish an entire house. We get a TON of compliments on it. Every time we are truthful and give full credit to Jim. His decades of experience with furniture really came through. Corcoran Furniture is what is great about small-town Iowa. Do yourself a favor and go.
PS. The single 1-star review (hopefully deleted by now) is from a guy that seems to be married to an employee / owner (?) at a competing store. (I googled it because I couldn't imagine a single person on this earth thinking Jim Corcoran deserved 1-star. Mystery solved.)

Mr Corcoran, was very helpful with all my furniture decisions. He had me lay on different beds, and different couches and chairs, so that he could give me enough information so I could make a good educated decision.

Great, laid-back buying experience!! The store is run by an older gentleman, and he is usually the one who is there to help you. He is polite, knowledgeable and not pushy, he shows you the options and is there to answer any questions but doesn't hover. I was hesitant about what I wanted for new living room furniture so I was looking at a lot of a different places, and I came in several times to look at a chair. I ended up buying it because it was almost half of what other places had the same thing for due to a sale, and they were just so nice! The chair arrived when they said it would and they
