Tyler Knudson Construction LLC, also known as TKC, has been a general contracting company in the Wausau area since 2013. Through the years we have become well rooted and known within the community as one of the most trusted contractors in the area. Last spring, TKC did a complete exterior re-do on our home: roof, sofits, siding, and trim.
Our intent was to change the look from the house's original late 70's look to something more contemporary and up-to-date. From the initial meeting - at which we did not yet have a complete plan/look in mind - to the end of the job, Tyler and his crew were very easy to work with. Tyler was very helpful with ideas and suggestions without ever being pushy or insistent about the options for material, colors, etc.
We were very satisfied with the entire experience and we are happy to give him this 5 star review. My next door neighbor was so impressed that he hired TKC to do the exterior and roof on his house. We've had MANY compliments on our house from neighbors and friends.

Tyler did a great job on our basement. His bid came out the lowest, and the work was high quality. When we changed plans mid-project (rerouting a sump pump, which pushed everything else back), he was very flexible and still finished the job at the quoted price. We will definitely go back to Tyler for any future projects.

The posts on my covered porch looked awful. No matter how many times I painted them the pine pitch seeped through. I wanted to fix this problem and dress up the look. Tyler gave me some great ideas and went to work!
I now have beautiful maintenance free posts with a decorative cuff on the bottom and near the top. This was all custom and was done in less than a weekend. It looks fantastic!! Our friends and family have all complimented the work. Thanks, Tyler...can't wait to see your ideas for my kitchen!

A new addition on my business that I had built was taking longer than anticipated and started getting dangerously close to not being finished before winter. I absolutely had to get ice and water shield, shingles and soffit and facia installed before the snow started flying! When I called Tyler he wasn’t sure they’d be able to fit me in as it was last minute, and he himself was trying to button up a few projects before winter.
Much to my surprise, he called back that evening was able to move a couple people around and fit my project in his busy schedule!!! He and his crew arrived on time and
