Luigi and his older brother, Alessandro, co-founders of Castelli Marble Inc., were born in Cassino, Italy, an area with a long and proud tradition of working with Perlato Royal, a stone first used by the Romans to build temples at Minturnae, circa 296 B.C.
As teenagers, Luigi and Alessandro, labored alongside the master cutters in their father's quarry where they learned to identify the texture of the finest marbles, as well as respect the inherent beauty of the stone.The Castelli's brought their years of experience, knowledge, and love of stone to America where they founded Castelli Marble, Inc. in 1986, three decades ago.
In 1999, to further meet clients requests and a desire to ensure precise production practices and after already five years of experience in the Mexican stone industry, Castelli Marble built a fully owned, state of the art production facility.

Purchased a hexagon marble mosaic from my local tile store manufactured/distributed by Castelli Tile. 5% of tiles had one edge that was beveled 45 degrees. This will change the shape of the tile and size of the grout lines. Was instructed to remove those tiles and replace. That's how I found out the backs if the tiles are 100% covered in adhesive that gets softer in water. Was even told by Castelli that the fiberglass mesh improved the tiles strength. A disappointment. How does the thinset bond to the tile if there is adhesive in the way?

The selection and service were outstanding. They matched marble shades when i reordered tiles perfectly. Their selection of marble is very high quality, and they were knowledgeable and eager to help with installation and cutting advice. Prices were also as good or better than I could find anywhere else on the Internet. I highly reccommend them.

I love Castelli Marble for their products they carry. They carry a wide variety of Italian marble in many sizes, colors, or they can custom make something for you, which i have had them do for me.
They also carry the hard to find; Thresholds
The one piece sink is solid marble made from Castelli for me, just beautiful.
This is the real thing, Not China made! no fillers in their Marble!
This family owned business is Superior to what you can find in quality at an affordable price. (and the business is on Superior Ave, Cleveland)

My visit was to purchase floor and wall tile for my bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a large selection of products. There was plenty of inventory on hand and it was absolutely beautiful, I was impressed.
As a bonus -The gentleman that assisted me was very knowledgeable of the products which was very helpful.
