Sweet Magnolia Design is a Michigan based interior design firm located just outside of Grand Rapids. We service the greater Grand Rapids area and serve other areas of the United States on a project by project basis since 2016. Graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an Associates in Fine Arts in Interior Design.
We can help you design your dream space from the ground up. We will ensure everything works in harmony, starting with the floor plan. We have the capabilities to manage the whole project to ensure you're satisfied with the outcome. Thinking of remodeling but don't know where to start? We're here to help!
Includes at least one digital idea board for a specific room in your home. This may include anything from paint colors, flooring, material selections, window treatments, etc. Includes one digital idea board and design in 2D or 3D architectural software as well as optional physical samples. Includes a scaled floor plan with furniture placement.

My experience with steel magnolia design was not a pleasant one. I ordered a shirt for a local beer club, received an invoice then paid promptly. There was some kind of falling out where we didn't receive the items we paid for until we raise the stink about it. Then when I received the item, the front logo was not centered it's under my left arm pit which makes the shirt kind of unwearable. I left three messages in two emails without a response. I received the shirt in the mail a month later in a box that wasn't taped shut. I'm not sure how you feel about it but I feel like that's a lack of customer

The hardest thing for me when working with a design team is to achieve commonality of vision. Although I had difficulty articulating my thoughts, Tammy and Jen took the time to listen and managed to understand my vision. As we worked through the design, they were willing to re-design elements on the fly as we zeroed in the final product. In the end, the result was a fully custom designed bathroom that turned out better than I could have hoped for.
